Absolutely excellent vegetarian/vegan retreat in the quiet of the tropical mountains...the food is excellent, the staff and service likewise. It's a bit on the pricey side, but if you are looking for a great place to "detox" and really get away fro all the stress, this is it!

Wonderful, charming house with ocean as your backyard. Perfect for family of 4. Clean, wonderful beach decor, well furnished. In addition to the wonderful acommodations, there are boogie boards, kayaks and other ocean play stuff in the basement.

Our three-night stay at Maravilla Mountain Inn in Las Marias was a wonderful and unique highlight of our trip to Puerto Rico. The DIY breakfast/lunches were beyond filling and the evening custom dinners were exemplary: four-course meals that were delicious, inventive, and memorable. Our rustic cabin had no electricity (advertised as such) but it really made no difference...the daytime quiet...

I am an avid traveler and adventurer and have to say that my time spent in Puerto Rico at the Maravilla mountain and beach rentals were amazing. From the view in the treetops with an overflowing amount of tropical life, birds, frogs, lizards, etc. to the epic sunsets on the bay front house in Anasco, I loved every minute of...

My husband and I visited Maravilla 's cabin for 8 nights and the penthouse on Añaco bay for 5 nights from February 28 to March 13. It is the dry season and the weather was perfect in the 80s and dry with an occasional passing shower and no bugs. We loved our time in both places. We landed in San...

Thank you for such a wonderful review! One thing I have to note, just to be clear, is that the cabin bed is not on the floor, it is on a low bedframe, probably about fifteen inches high. We thoroughly enjoyed your visit and hope we will see you in the future!

We returned to the Mountain house in January 2015 for six nights having stayed at at the Mountain location in 2011. We are so glad we did! We are three vegan men (a couple and a friend) and stayed in the cabin. The property is lushly beautiful and tranquil, and we loved having another chance to hike the streams to...

I brought my mom, sister, and husband to this wonderful place. Mom and sis are widows and needed a different place to spend the holidays; hubby just finished his second and third masters' degrees and needed to celebrate. Me, I had just concluded another successful trip to China with students. My husband and I eat a whole plant based diet-over...

I was undecided about whether to vacation in the mountains or on the beach, so took advantage of Maravilla's option that allowed me to do both. I spent three days in a charming cabin set smack in the middle of a tropical forest, with its abundance of flora and fauna, wide variety of brightly colored birds, and charming little lizards...

My boyfriend and I wanted a romantic beach vacation to take together. We chose to go in November, due to work schedules and it being the off season. We found Maravilla through Tripadvisor and thought that having an all included vegan resort would be a great idea, since we did not know much about dining in Puerto Rico. We ended...

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We are sorry that you had a disappointing experience with us. I am going to address your concerns as you listed them. The food at the beach is always "diy" and has always been listed as such on the website, in the three years that we have had the beach...

We had researched vegan vacations and chose to stay at Maravilla MT because of the two location options. We wanted to experience staying at a rain forest location, and stay at a beachfront - through this retreat we got the best of both worlds. Our June arrival was definitely an ordeal - we were unable to arrive at our planned...

“No need to bring anything fancy to wear - keep it simple and comfortable. If you plan on seeing the waterfalls on location make sure you bring a very good pair of water sandals and long or 3/4 length pants and athletic top. Bring or buy your own alcohol save money and take advantage of the onsite blenders to make creative drinks. Air conditioning could have been better - it did get warm there.”

“We loved the cottage where we stayed but also fell in love with the little cabin when we saw it (no electricity). However, I'm extremely allergic and it was very humid so I'm glad I didn't go that far to escape.”
