From the moment we arrived everything was just brilliant. We spent a week there and it was just magical, the massages were outstanding, the food service and villa were exceptional. To be honest we are looking into going back again next year. The beach set ups were such a nice touch, seeing the dolphins swimming was awesome, and with the binoculars we could see them every morning from the private pool.

Wow this place very much exceeded our expectations! We had booked in 2020 but due to Covid/visa issues we could not travel until November 2023. Cocoshambhala honoured our original booking with no extra charges which was amazing. The view from our villa was spectacular and we watched the sun go down on many occasions. The facilities are all excellent. We used the spa for massages, we took advantage of the hotel setting us up brollies/matts/drinks on the beach, we went out on a boat trip and saw dolphins. The food, well apparently we tried pretty much everything on the menu according to what the staff told us. There was no food we didn’t enjoy! The staff could not have done more for us. I would 100% recommend a stay here and I expect we will be returning at some point in the future!…

Wow - what a location - we absolutely loved Coco Shambhala in Sindhudurg! Our perfect type of hotel - luxurious and boutique with just 4 beautiful villas, all with great views overlooking the Arabian Sea. This is now our new favourite hotel in India. The food - fantastic & plenty of it! A mix of Indian, Asian & European. The staff - really attentive, friendly & professional and always going out of their way to assist. The massages - some of the best I have had. Definitely treat yourself to a full body massage (which includes a head massage) & the foot massage. The villas - really beautiful & exactly as per the photos on the website. Each villa has 2 bedrooms so can accommodate 2 or 4 persons. Each villa has an open living room & dining room which adjoins the infinity pool - yes, each villa has their own private infinity pool & unlike some private pools in other hotels, you can actually swim decent lengths in these pools. Great modern bathrooms too - solar powered showers which are generally always hot & good plumbing too. Good quality toiletries. There is a kitchen with a couple of fridges and all drinks, including tea, coffee & biscuits are all complimentary. They also provide a complimentary laundry service for any light items which need washing, which is a really nice touch. Activities - these can all be arranged for you at additional cost (e.g. sunset boat trips along the backwaters, visits to the local villages to see temples, markets & the Sindhudurg fort, cooking classes, hiking, water sports, snorkelling etc). The beach - a 2 min easy walk from the hotel and it has no beach shacks whatsoever, so don’t expect bars, restaurants or shops on the beach as there aren’t any!!! This is the beauty of Sindhudurg - it is completely unspoilt. Hopefully it will remain this way…. In summary - if you are looking for a luxury experience, and to see the real India, away from the tourists, then Coco Shambhala in Sindhudurg is a must. This is a place to wind down, relax and enjoy, so I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a 3-5 night stay after a busy couple of weeks travelling around India. This is one of the most gorgeous properties I have ever stayed at, where everything was just perfect!! Beautifully built into a hill, all villas house an infinity pool that looks out to sweeping, endless postcard-worthy views of the sea. Needless to say - we spent A LOT of time in the pool! Not only that, the bedrooms come with the same views too! The open-air living pavilion was a great space to connect with our loved ones, overlooking pristine views of the pool and sea. The kitchenette was well equipped, and came with a mini bar. Complemented with a Spa (their Ayurvedic treatments and massages are outstanding), delectable and lipsmacking food and beverage (their menu houses the most elevated, delicious options that you just can't get enough of), and warmest of hospitality staff - this is one of the most superlative, indulgent stays I have ever experienced, where everything was just top notch! We chose coco shambhala for the infinity pool and we got much more than that .. everything was superlative and beyond words to describe the stay .. if you are looking for unwinding with great food excellent service amazing view luxurious spaces this must be your next destination.. hospitality at its best the staff is extremely forthcoming in every way .. they made sure we had an amazing time with food catered to our likes , impeccable cleanliness maintained by the housekeeping staff who worked meticulously in the background keeping the villa spotless and perfect .. This was just the perfect getaway for us n we want to come back for more A big shout out to Revan Lumen and Suhas for coordinating with us for every last detail to help us with our stay Sanket for bringing our meals promptly and piping hot Beer on tap was just shockingly yum and we were grateful for all of this made available to us so easily and effortlessly.. the spa experience was simply rejuvenating what can I say I just loved the indulgence All in all an amazing wholesome holiday made perfect with smiles and happy faces…

Wow and awe stuck from Moment u arrive and till u check out …Stupendous , spellbound with this piece of paradise …This was my only second trip and we r all sure many will follow …The views are unbelievable and unparallel to any beach properties In India . What’s more there is no Resturant means from an early morning Masala tea till ur Last Desert of the Night all SERVED IN UR VILLA PRIVACY. The Service attitude of all staff right from booking ( Lumen ) coordination ( Suhas ) reception ( Revan ) activities and spa ( Harish ) Food (Mukti , Dilip and Suman ) Service in Villa ( Nikhil , Sanket and Estilo ) beach set up (Vaibhav and other two) And many unsung heroes to take care of this Paradise . The location itself was a sight to behold, a stunningly landscaped oasis set against the Konkan waterfront, offering a breathtaking sea view that spanned as far as the eye could see. Each villa boasted a private pool, a common area complete with a well-stocked bar, and luxurious rooms that left nothing to be desired. However, what truly sets Coco Shambala apart from the rest is its staff. The team here was remarkable, catering to the needs of every age group with warmth, care, and a constant smile. Gorgeous serene paradise location nestled in the foliage of mango and cashew nut trees. Coco Shambala resort was An idyllic hideaway, perfect for relaxation. Fabulous views over the coast with the most breathtaking sunsets. the food was amazing - catered for our every need There is not much to do outside the actual villa so you are coming to a resort to get away from it all.
