An excellent. well run pub with good quality food and prices. Everything was spot on and couldn't be faulted. Arrived late due to M6 blockage, so pre-ordered on route, which meant we missed the excellent over 60's menu!!! Despite this, all food arrived within 20 minutes of arriving back from our walk...all piping hot and served together....well done. Also seated...

We took a mid-week trip to Astbury Mere Country Park and then tried the Egerton Arms for lunch - we were not disappointed! There was a fireplace in the bar, with a welcoming fire burning and the room was nicely decorated. We selected from the lengthy choices on the menus that were available, and a pint of Robinsons bitter went...

Our party of five had pre-booked a table for a Saturday night. On arrival we were quickly taken to our table and given the menu for our Christmas meal. We went for lunch on a week day, the food was plentiful and very tasty. The restaurant was very quiet as most people were in the bar. There was a fireplace with a welcoming fire burning and the room was nicely decorated. The service was excellent, menus given to us straight away and drink orders taken. The portions were large...

An overnight stay in Charing Astbury. This is a nice pub, with rooms. Good size room, very clean, refurbished bathroom. Peaceful and quiet. Good breakfast in a dinning room. A good place for an overnight stay and very good value

We had Saturday lunch at this village pub. The service was prompt and our waitress was friendly. The menu was extensive and we were spoilt for choice. There was the option of 2 courses from a limited menu for £6.99 which was brilliant value. This is a lovely, traditional village pub and I would recommend a visit.
