I spent three nights at Kohka Wilderness Camp with my family. It's a lovely place. The rooms ar quaint and very well maintained. The food is sumptuous and tasty. And the staff are very polite and helpful. The proprietor Shourabh provided helpful suggestions to keep us all entertained. Overall a delightful trip!
I stayed on the property for one night. The cottage room was big enough with all amenities. Food and pack breakfast were owesum and yummy. Veg and non veg both were very tasty. The staff was courteous, well behaved, and dedicated. Superb hospitality by owner, Mr. Saurabh Gosh. This Kohka Wilderness camp is very near to Pench National Park main gate in Turiya. The landscape of the property is designed beautifully. It is full of different types of birds and butterfly. Definitely, I would prefer to stay here again and again.
A beautifully done resort with the most amazing hosts. Everything was perfect. The food was outstanding. Do connect with the hosts to book safaris in advance. Everything in the resort is homegrown and authentic. A must go with family and friends
We spent three wonderful nights at Kohka Wilderness Camp in Pench Tiger reserve. It gave us the much needed homely vibe with all the necessary comfort. Excellent host Shourabh, who has been a wonderful person to talk to and get lot of great information on wiildlife, and his very warm and efficient staff members…especially Lokesh, Rafiq and Atul who took such personalized care of us. And D…. The gentle and friendly Labrador. If you love dogs and are going to Pench look at no other place. When you come back from a long safari drive, he is right there to welcome you with a wagging tail. Be generous with your belly rubs, he loves them.. Food and ambience is superb…. Can’t seriously rave enough about the food, such great offerings at every meal. From the breakfast to evening tea to lunch and dinner and even the safari picnic pack.. it’s all done with major care and whole lot of attention to details. Rooms are very thoughtfully planned with so many electric outlets for all your gadgets and camera batteries. Clean and comfortable with nice sit out for you to relax at. Beautiful garden and a nice pool area overall giving a relaxed and calming vibe.. They help organizing your safaris, so you don’t need to worry about sorting logistics. Overall a great welcoming place that we can’t wait to get back to. Thanks Shourabh and team and my furry friend D for such a memorable stay. I miss the place so much even as i type this review……
Without a doubt, this place is now listed in on of my most fav hotels/resorts. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner Sourabh, the staff and not to forget D, their Labrador! Throughout our stay, we were made to feel totally cared for and looked after by Sourabh and his wonderful staff who are humble, caring and hard working, always with a smile on their faces. The resort has a mix of rustic and modern feel. The rooms are cute and cozy. Special mention to the delicious home cooked food (which we just couldn't stop eating), which is all organic, home grown on their farm. All in all one of the most pleasant stays I have had. Choosing this place was the best decision that we made. Exceptional, Outstanding and Magnificent!
The entire property is very well designed and maintained. Lot of trees are planted all over the property. Excellent food and the service is too good. The owners take care personally of every guest staying with them. They have great knowledge about the wildlife and guide us very well. Staff is very polite and takes care of the stay and food very well. Breakfast is packed ready before we get out for early morning safari. Overall highly satisfied. Highly recommended place to stay with family and friends while we enjoy the nature.
This place just took me to a different dimension purely for the proper balance of rustic and modern touches and the amount of thought and effort that has gone into putting together this wonderful place. The man running the show, Mr. Shourabh, just adds so much value to your stay with his humble gestures and his caring ways. Kohka Wilderness Camp also captured my heart for the charity work that it channels towards the betterment of the locals in an innovative and productive manner. Being a Wildlife Photographer (as of now by passion only), seeing the plathora of photographs displayed at Kohka Wilderness Camp photographed by the renowned Wildlife Photographer Mr. Shivang Mehta added an educational value to my stay there. Do visit Kohka Wilderness Camp if you're traveling to Pench and you'll know what I meant by the above review. Highly recommended.…
We visited kohka Wilderness camp recently and it was my wife's 40th birthday and Sanjay and his team went out of the way to make the day special... We even had some of our friends over to have dinner with us and they had a great time. Sanjay is a great host he is not a hotelier in the slightest sense. The place is very rustic and the staff is very warm and courteous. Definitely would recommend this property. Also last but not the least the food is very good.
Kohka Wilderness Camp is a great place to stay. The rooms are cosy. The staff is friendly and helpful. As are the owners/ hosts. The safari beat has predictable time slots, so the time spent at the Camp during the day between trips better be worth it. Rooms here have decent sized sit out areas. This place is designed such that each set of rooms is surrounded by enough foliage to offer you enough privacy to relax, chill, chat for hours on end. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
We had the good fortune of being hosted for lunch by Saurabh and Sanjay, the partners who manage this place. This camp is truly a labour of love, the founders have gone to great lengths to design and develop this place. Attention to details is mind boggling, and the emphasis on using locally produced handmade items is charming. There is a range of locally produced products that are available for sale- soaps, honey, handicrafts. The projects the Kohka Foundation, an affiliate of the camp, runs are well thought through, working on specific issues that have the highest impact in the villages in the neighbourhood. We didn't quite get the chance to stay here, as we had prior reservations at a different resort. We are definitely coming back to stay at this place.
