I have just returned from a weekend staying at Barolin farm for a hen party. It was the perfect location. Gorgeous grounds also, some parts of the rooms could do with a dust but to be expected in a property of its size and age! Definitely recommend for a large party.

Barolin Farm hosted my end party on (luckily) a beautiful weekend in March. There were 22 of us in total (of which 6 slept in one of the chalets). The Farm is easy to find and despite Belinda living just across the courtyard; she left us to our own devices all weekend – with reassurance that if we needed her...

I stayed at this property for a Hen Party. We had a fabulous time. The main house and grounds are lovely. Unfortunately, as there were a large number of us, some of us had to stay in the wooden chalets rather than in the main house. We were really unimpressed by the chalets. They are very basic but my main...

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback. I am sorry and surprised that the chalets were not clean. I had checked them and didn't see the tissue you referred to. The lady who cleans them is always very thorough but I will in future double check very carefully. They are an accomodation option we offer at a...

27 of us descended on to this wonderful old country house for the weekend! We were housed both in the main house and the chalets! The venue was stunning and had everything we needed for cooking and plenty of glassware. It is a beautiful house which has been well loved. Belinda (the owner) was amazing! She was on hand to...

Belinda was there to welcome us when we were first to arrive. She gave us a brief tour and was very helpful. We used all 8 bedrooms at Barolin Farm. I used bedroom 3 which is 3 single beds. It's a large room with its own bathroom with shower over the bath. The shower really struggled to supply much of...

Thank you for taking the time to give your feedback. We have just started to switch the hot water circulating pump off between guests being in residence and are now aware that it must be switched back on the day before guests arrive. Then plenty of hot water is delivered to baths and showers. It is a new system and...

We have just come back from a fantastic long weekend at Barolin Farm Guest House celebrating my Father's 70th Birthday with all the family. The house is very charming and perfect for all ages. The children loved the space and the huge garden and tennis courts are all behind a large wall making it very safe for them to explore....

Within a few miles of Ripon and Fountains Abbey this massive ex stables converted to accommodation as a large farmhouse style building is ideal for a large family get together. The bedrooms are massive and all bar one have good en suites and can take blow up beds for kids. Downstairs are three large rooms, toilets readily available and a...

Thank you Kevin for your feedback. It was a pleasure to see your family enjoying themselves here. The house is my pride and joy and I am delighted that it is proving popular as a venue for 'get togethers'. I do describe it to our guests as a little frayed around the edges but we are progressing with the improvements...

The courtyard house is very old fashioned, some might dated, but there is a homeliness about the place. The grounds are a delight and its position for treks out and about the countryside is fantastic. Our family of 12, three kids 5,7,10 + 9 adults had a great time. A great place to switch off! The only downside was poor...

Thank you for taking your time to give your feedback. People love this place for its unique charm and character at the heart of a busy riding centre. Of course there are some inconveniences and we do have a rolling maintenance I and improvement programme. At the same time we believe we are keeping our charges very reasonable for such...
