The location of the hotel is extremely nice. It is by the sea. If you are lucky, you can have a nice view on the sea. There is a very nice path that goes from the hotel until Gilleleje with a superb view on the see. The lobby of the hotel is very cosy. The restaurant is a bit disappointing... More

We had 2 nights here on a cycling trip, and had great weather. Room was very hot and the extractor did not work in the shower so it was very humid!! Wet room drain a bit dodgy too. Worst thing was the new blinds which looked very. Ice but did not keep out the Summer light. Woken at 4 am. Really... More

We stayed here for one night during a weekend. Its quite a walk from the train station in Gilleleje but the walking path along the sea was very beautiful. The hotel is situated high on a cliff not far from the sea but still most rooms have no sea view. In fact there is no garden with sea view either... More

The charming hotel is placed with a great view over the sea as the number one highlight. You really get a sense of old times at this respectfully restored hotel that is not a place for ipads and iphones, but for peace and quit. The restaurant is really good value for money in the evening while the breakfast is pretty... More

My old man always talked about the cars of his youth. He would always finish off with the sentence “It was a classic”. We would make fun of him but it was the truth. While this is not a car I cannot keep myself from saying the same thing. This is a beautiful hotel. Staff is kind and the breakfast... More

It's an amazing hotel. The room is awesome. The crew is charming. It's so clean well organized, the main building has antique furniture and the atmosphere is very romantic. Location is beautiful. Near the sea, yet among trees.

We stayed here during our journey through Denmark. They welcomed us warmly with our dog. The hotel itself is quite difficult to find, but with a GPS we succeeded:-) This is a really charming hotel with a flair of the good old days. Our room had a great view over the sea, it was a small but nice enough room.... More

At first, we thought we got lost when driving towards Gilleleje Badehotel - but at the end of a small and winding road; this charming and unique little hotel appears. We were lucky to get one of the last rooms when we called just the night before our stay. We had a very warm and personal welcome as soon as... More

It is expensive, the location is splendid, spa facilities are wonderfull. But it is a misstatement to call it a "Badehotel" The hotel is located on top of a 30 meter cliff. Badehotel implies that you can swim from a beach. There is nowhere near you can eat, so you are stuck with the hotel menu. It is ok for... More

We spent several days at this hotel while attending a family reunion. First, it is in the woods and overlooks the sea. If you are thinking it is downtown, try again. The breakfasts are outstanding. The room was clean albeit somewhat spartan. No air conditioning but opened windows kept us cool. Nice lobby area...easy to hang out. Easy to use... More
