Have been there now 3 times, this last time booked garden suite (2 bedroom very small cottage) with my daughter and son in law and our 4 elderley dogs. On arrival the bed configuration had not been changed. There were certain parts our dogs could go and they were not supposed to be off their leads when sitting outside the...

We came to Cornwall for a family wedding, and decided to make a mini-break of it by staying for 3 nights in this hotel which was strongly recommended by friends. We were not disappointed. Our room was lovely - very comfortable with everything we needed. The large bathroom had a glorious wet-room style shower, which I only wish we had...

Had to stay over in Cornwall on business and we had a delightful stay at the Rose-in-Vale hotel. Tucked out of the way the hotel is delightful and set in its own lovely gardens, with wild flowers, a river pond and ducks just to add to the ambience and when the sun shines - just wonderful to relax in. If...

Last night we went to the Rose-in-Vale restaurant. It is a lovely house in a beautiful peaceful setting. We had drinks overlooking the garden and then had dinner. Service, food and ambience a delight. Would definitely return.

Although we were not staying at this hotel, we joined our friends who were hotel guests for dinner. We had a pre-dinner drink in the comfortable lounge where the owner quickly re-arranged the sofas so that we could all sit together. This was followed by a very good meal in the attractive dining room, with home made bread rolls and...

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Rose-In-Vale and it was magical. We didn't stay at the hotel over night but we had the ceremony there and some drinks after. It is beautiful and made our day perfect.

What should have been a really nice experience in what is a beautiful ‘hamlet’ location was let down by the one reason we went to the ‘AA Rosette’ hotel, the food. At a price of £210 for Dinner, bed and Breakfast (not including the supplements’, wine, coffee etc). This hotel is overpriced and I would question its 4 star status!...

Wow this place is beautiful, set out of the way and stunning. The house and grounds are amasing. We only stayed 1 night but will be back as this hotel is such a find. This was a rare night away and very worth it, the room was clean, bright and comfy. The food was lovely and James and Sara were...

We had a very enjoyable couple of days in Rose In The Vale. We found our room very comfortable and excellent food. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. It was in a lovely part of Cornwall near the beautiful. We were sorry it was not longer and look forward to going again.
