We were travelling in a camper, we visited Kakadu and were really disappointed, we went to Litchfield after and we were so glad we did! Free entry to the national park, cheap overnight sites, and the map and route around was beautiful, fun and exciting. We didn't have 4x4 but we still got to see so much of the area,... More

Awesome place, great camp ground at Wangi falls only 300m walk to swimming hole. Approximate 30km drive from camp ground to Florence and Buley which are great spots for a swim. This is one place we will go back to again one day.

We chose this property on the basis of previous reviews. We knew it would be basic however, we felt that a bit more could have been done in the way of maintenance. I would only recommend this place for those who don't mind roughing it. It is cheap and v convenient being located right within Litchfield National Park and we... More

This place is pretty well setup, clean and reasonable value. But I have never felt like such an inconvenience before. Seems the bloke running the place would be a lot happier without customers! Our initial room (7) had a torn mosquito screen which we told happened the night before and couldn't be fixed till after the weekend. We were then... More

We stayed in one of the safari tents with a double bed, which was fine. The toilet and shower facilities are very basic. Although you're in the middle of the national park, we didn't think this was good value for money. The location is nice, but the giant parking lot in front of the campsite takes away the feeling you're... More

A stay here is a stay under the stars in the middle of nowhere yet close & handy to every attraction one wants to see when in Ltichfield National Park. The Safari style tent accomodation is basic raised floor, clean & comfortable & most welcome after a long day sight seeing. Food at the Cafe across the way is plentiful... More

We were very happy at the Latitude 1308. The tents were very comfortable and clean, food was great at the cafe and served by very friendly people. It was easy to get to the attractions nearby and was a perfect weekend getaway. I was in Darwin working from Melbourne and stayed for the weekend.

It's a tented camp, the rooms are basic, (this is not African Safari camping), the beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and we slept well. The charm and rating are in the rest of the offering. The location, perfectly situated to make the most of a full day out in beautiful beautiful Litchfield. The peace and quiet, beautiful gardens surrounded... More

We stayed here because we were looking for an affordable place right in Litchfield Park, not Batchelor (it took us about 30 min to drive there from Batchelor). I did not know what to expect, as I had no idea what Safari style accommodation was (it's basically permanent tents on stilts). Overall, it was a really nice place for what... More

What a great way to see Litchfield! A host who knows the area really well and is happy to sit and have a beer with you, and so close to beautiful waterfalls and swimming holes. We absolutely loved it. The food was excellent too.
