We had a bad holiday at Begety Bay.Food and drinks were awful. The beach is just stones and the pool is dirty. The hotel is clean but looks like many years ago.
The furniture, mattresses and pilows were terrible.

Nice family owed hotel. If looking to be away from the mass flocked holiday resorts. 30mins rid by public transport to the main town of Rethymno. Hotel clean and quiet, so one has a chance to fully rejuvenate. Very friendly and helpful staff. What I...More

Hi Cardimarc,

The sunbathing beds are few by the beach as well as around the swimming pool, but if you so wish a few meters away you have a public beach to use. Just for drink bought you can spend the whole day or pay 2,50 euros.
Please note there are several, but I'd recommend the one by the beach bar.
Hope this helps. enjoy your stay:)
