What can one say beyond the fact that this super picturesque and well preserved village has won my heart and made me return for the third consecutive time in 3 years..? Well..no need to think for too long because the answer is easy and it comes from the heart. The natural beauty of the well maintained traditional villas combined with... More

Not only is Vamos a lovely little place, a real experience of traditional Crete, but the people are so friendly. George and Elena at the Tourist Office were first class. Would definitely go back again.

This little village some kilometers away from Chania, is charming, calm and the inhabitant are truly welcoming. Crete is a wonderful mediterranean island and Vamos is the perfect choice to explore the East half of the Island. I stayed one week in Vamos and I have to say that this place met our expectations. The apartment was really nice, very modern and clean. We specified to the staff that we needed a good internet connection, and they guaranteed us a fast and reliable wireless (very useful because our phones were in roaming as we are not greek).... I recently contacted this agency as I was looking for an apartment around Vamos. Although I gave them a really short notice (and it was mid August!) they found me the perfect place. The staff was absolutely amazing: they spent time on the phone giving me live directions to get there, gave nice suggestions to visit the area, and also... More

This was our first time in Crete and we wanted a place large enough for seven people, but also very comfortable and private. Indeed, we couldn’t have found a better place than Zonera Villas. We rented the villa on the back, conveniently situated outside the nice small village of Vrisses and perfectly set in the beautiful Cretan landscape. It is... More

E & C from Victoria, Australia We had a truly wonderful 12 days in Vamos, staying at a very cute 2 level house that was recommended to us by the friendly staff at Vamos Traditional Village. This recommendation was something we asked for and the reason was simple: we were looking for a place that was in an old village... More

The staff was very helpfull, friendly, honest and flexible. The atmosphere of the appartment is really authentic, not everything is modern like a resort, but that is just the reason why you should go to Fabrica. The village and the surroundings are great! The fridge worked a little bit too well: it froze pretty much everything.

We really loved the cosy rustic cottage that we stayed in amid the peaceful surroundings. The staff at the Tourist office were very helpful in giving us information to help us feel more at ease with our stay (as we are urban folk). We had great fun doing the trails around Vamos - ask at the office for the guide... More
