On arrival @ 2.30 am a very nice man was there to greet us ( Nicholas ) we were offered drinks and rolls (greatly appreciated) We were taken up to our room (fair few steps up my case was carried for me, and my husband carried his own) The next day we were greeted by the lovely Maria who explained...

This hotel is situated above a lovely bay in the undeveloped eastern part of the island. The small town it looks over is not a hive of activity, there are very few tourists in this area and so it is not an area for people looking for action and nightlife. The hotel is made up of a series of buildings...

When we turned up at the hotel, they said they had over-booked the hotel and did not have a room for us. They recommended another hotel that we could stay in but we declined this offer and left. When we returned home, we saw that we were billed for the room, despite not being able to stay there. I contacted...

We came here for 2 weeks in August with our 2 children (4 & 6). What a lovely place! We arrived at about 4.30am in the morning, and although they hadn't realised we were due at that time, the owner raced out to help us with our bags. (I must add, it is a very steep and cobbled climb to...

We took 3 grandchildren 14,12 & 9 in Aug. Food was good and so was the 2 bedroom apartment. Its out of the way with beautiful views. The kids really enjoyed it and to our surprise so did we. The only criticism is that there needs to be more brolly s for shade at poolside.

We recently stayed at this hotel for one night. Although it is well-situated, close to a popular beach and has a lovely view, our stay was very disappointing. The grounds are neglected and in bad need of pruning and cleaning. The rooms have not been maintained and as a result door handles were falling off, paint was peeling and all...

I came home from a two week stay in Elpida a couple of days ago, it was by far one of my favourite family holidays. I went with my parents and younger sister and they agreed that it was one of the best holidays they'd been on. The hotel itself wasn't situated in a very busy area, there weren't many...

Budget hotel for European families. Terrible food. They offer an all inclusive option for $15 per person. Wine, beer, coffee, juice, and well drinks are included, (the soda tasted weird and the wine is from a soda dispenser, alcohol is watered down), but the food is so horrible it's not worth it. It is worse than cafeteria food, they served...

Dear Ms. Lara, yes we are a budget hotel, and mostly for European families. And yes families often include kids. I don't know how to reply to someone who has a problem with that and considers a Con the fact that there are kids. Having experience of food in NY (including "cafeteria food") all I can say it that I...

After reading some of the other reviews on here I was concerned we had made a mistake. The hill is steep and the family rooms are at the bottom so hard walk up and down for anything, at the hotels main complex. Although aware of the hill before booking anymore than ten days would have been a grind. Now the...

We are a family of five just returned from a week at the Elpida and like some other reviewers feel it has got a bad press. We arrived late at night to be met at the bottom of the hill and escorted to the bar for a much needed soft drink. The hotel has a very pretty entrance with many...

“Seaview rooms are better, those overlooking the pool may get noisy in the evenings if there are guests partying outside but you can get a wi fi signal on your balcony. Do not get a singel garden view as they have no balconies.”
