This was our third and fourth night cycling the Kennet and Avon Canal path from Reading to Bristol and I would thoroughly recommend this very interesting property. Sparkly clean room and ensuite, comfortable bed, well appointed rooms, with water, chocolates and biscuits offered, our party of five friends enjoyed our stay at Poplar house. We were offered the use of...

We stayed for one night in the green room. Beautiful guest lounge just opposite which we enjoyed after a lovely walk to Bathampton Mill for a meal as recommended by the owner. Super hosts, very clean house. Super comfy bed and well equipped rooms and good shower room en suite. Susanne was very attentive during breakfast in the morning, providing...

Poplar House is a beautiful Georgian building, full of character and very tastefully decorated. We had the Grey Room which was large, elegant and fully equipped and just opposite a very nice guest lounge. The breakfasts were excellent with Susanne using eggs laid by her own chickens. The fresh fruit salad was particularly good as was the bacon. It is...

This is a lovely place to stay for visiting Bath. Wonderful hosts, very friendly and relaxed, make you feel really at home and welcome. Our room was in The Eaves and as we are small people it was perfect as it had low ceiling beams. Beautifully decorated and clean. Lovely finishing touches such as mini easter eggs with the tea/coffee....

It was just perfect! We got late in the evening, and we're greeted in the most delightful way. We stayed in the green and grey rooms- which were stunning. The decor was very tasteful with an amazing eye for the little details (would liked to have more accessible power sockets in the green room) but other than that it was...

It was a pleasure to stay at Poplar house. We came up for the Xmas markets and were not disappointed. The grey room was beautiful and the whole house was beautiful decorated and quirky. 5 star breakfast too with a wide selection. Very easy bus service to use with buses coming through every 10 minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night while we celebrated his birthday. The property itself is beautiful and well-kept. Our room was gorgeous-clean, beautifully decorated and furnished. The bathroom was spotless, elegant and had an amazing shower. The bed was big and incredibly comfortable. The dining area is also impressive. We wish we could have stayed for longer!...
