We arrived in July 2015, and booked 2 rooms for my wife and parents. The hotel advised they could provide an ironing service and we therefore went with them as we had a Christening nearby in Molyvos. When we called to ask for 2 - 3 items of clothing to be ironed, we were told that their ironing service had ended early on that day. (So much for making your service available at the times you say it will be). No apology was offered, it was like it was nothing unusual. Just paid for a service we can't use that's all. No big deal according to Eftalou staff. We were lucky enough to find a local who lent us an iron which we tried to use in the room but the power point just fell right out. The hotel service therefore called their electrician who further delayed us in coming out. The hotel again did not apologise. We also tried their breakfast and it was very basic, and the butter was past its expiration date so we couldn't really enjoy a proper breakfast. The TV had no remote control, and it was a very small basic tv of which most channels wouldn't work. We certainly never felt 'welcomed' or that we were valued paying customers. Hotel needs an update, everything seemed old and worn out, but the main issue for us was the poor service.…
It is very close to Touristic spots of lesvos. We came with a tour rooms are spacious and clean. But they do not have much staff. Before the dinner I couldn' t find a bar to drink aperatif. The breakfast was good and adequate there were cheese yoghurt tomatoes olives and jams .I liked ir .
We stayed there with my 2 kids at a very low price and I didn't expect that the hotel could be so good. The rooms spacious and quite clean. A little problem with the size of the shower. The swimming pool was the best I have ever swum. Adequate breakfast. Decent personnel.
We stayed at Eftalou hotel for 19 days. It was an overall pleasant stay, rooms quiet and clean, peaceful surroundings (hotel building surrounded by olive groves), breakfast also with healthy choices (tomatoes, cucumber, good quality olives, olive oil, home-made savoury pastry items which varied daily, etc.). Reasonable prices considering the hotel's walking distance to Molyvos, one of the touristiest and certainly the most beautiful spot on Lesbos, also close to Eftalou healing springs (a great experience, by the way). The hotel's greatest asset, however, is its staff. Very polite, they go out of their way to help you with anything you need. On the downside: fixtures and fittings are on the cheap side, wifi erratic and generally not dependable. Overall, good value for money.
Polite personnel and helpful. Nice environment indoors and outdoors. Pool area needs some improvement. Poor WiFi, not working in most of our stay!! Rooms clean.there was no shampoo or shower gel. Breakfast really poor!
The hotel and rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The pool was great- Very well taken car of and large. Hotel was in a quiet location but a few minutes drive to Molyvos and close to Petra as well. There's a shuttle too to take you to molyvos but since we had a car we didn't use it. It was a really good value for the price we paid and would no doubt stay here again. We had looked at many hotels in both Molyvos and Petra and we really think we found the best value for our money!!
I just came back from my holidays in Molyvos, i stayed for 2 weeks in the Eftalou hotel and I have to say that it was one of my best vacations. Very nice hotel very close to the beach but most of all the people that they run it are far the best asset of the hotel. Hospitality and friendly spirit made all guest feel like home. The hotel have all the commodities for someone to experience a very relaxing and beautiful holidays.
This is not your typical five-star icy environment hotel. The people here are warm and polite, and they are going to do give their absolute best to get you anything you need. Quiet and comfy environment. The rooms are clean, breakfast on time, nice pool and garden, extremely close to the hot springs! The pizza is just great! Crunchy, just the right amount of ingredients, thin but not paper, big variety. Salad also very tasty and fresh. Definitely worth staying there for the price required.
First time in this hotel we had asked a room for three pax and three single beds of course. I finally have understood that there are no triple rooms but only double that turn out by the hotel owners to be triple! There were two single beds and one more extra bed placed next to them so all three made one continued surface. We had to move the small furniture to make space so at least our son could get up from bed normally. My husband and I had to climb from the feet side of beds to reach our pillows. Bathroom was clean but from time to time there was a bad smell and the shower was so small that if you closed the side doors you couldn't move your hands to use your shampoo! Sheets and towels were not changed at all for the four nights we stayed there (although the reception girl had told the maids to do so) I was said after my complains before leaving. Staff was polite and friendly. Breakfast although the same every day, was satisfying. The pool was clean and the gardens around neat. There were a lot of mosquitos in all room areas so take everything you need, to prevent yourself to become their meal! We had lunch at the tavern (pasta and pizza) and they were very tastefull. Poor or no wi-fi in rooms, only near the reception.…
I ended up at this hotel as a last minute choice as there were issues with our first pick. The hotel looks and feels very tired and in need of refurbishment both inside and out. The pizzeria may well be renowned in the area but you wouldn't wish to live every meal on pizza on a 7 day Greek holiday. The staff were welcoming and helpful but the owners really need to invest in the facilities. The indoor bar was not opened and there was no entertainment. The courtesy bus didn't run that often either. You also have to be ambidextrous to use the shower.
