We had a so-called Superior Room, but all our 6 days, there were huge problems with their Wi-Fi - it was almost impossible to connect, and gave us problems regarding check in for our flights, staying in touch with families, friends etc ..never experienced such poor facilities and a staff, that was acting like they didn’t care.. As we are not French, and thereby didn’t have included Mobile data on our phones, it was important for us to have Wi-Fi connection, but this hotel failed.. Superior Rooms here doesn’t include daily water bottle or the possibility to make a coffee or tea.. All in all the a very poor and average experience to visit Le Nautile, and can’t recommend it. Unfortunately staff were very little custom friendly, and didn’t seem to be interested in their clients.. Will definitely choose another Hotel next time, as this wasn’t worth the money!…
We had a lovely 4-night stay at Le Nautile at the end of our trip to Reunion. You can't beat the location, which is right on a white sandy beach on the lagoon. Our sea-facing room on the second floor with a view over the beach was spacious enough, but it is dated and in need of a renovation. Good buffet breakfast - we did not have dinner at the hotel as there are several great options within walking distance of the hotel. We enjoyed Le Planche Alizee especially. Great tapas dinner there and buzzing at lunchtime with a la carte menu. I would recommend this hotel for its location, but if you want 5-star luxury, go to the Lux down the road.
I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Directly on its own (private) beach with a fantastic view. I have a room with a nice view of the pool. Rooms are ok with very comfortable bed. This room was a bit dated but was very clean and didn't bother me at all. Very tasty and extensive breakfast that is always served outside. You can eat a la carte for lunch and dinner. The free beach towel service (only pay a deposit) is also very handy. You can always get a new clean towel. You can relax at the beautiful swimming pool or on the beach. Both locations are equipped with sunbeds and seats Last day I was able to leave my suitcase in a secure zone and enjoy the hotel all day long and take a nice shower before I left for the airport. This hotel is definitely recommended for family and business travel.…
We spent 8 days in this lovely hotel. Everything was done to our utmost satisfaction. The rooms are exactly the size a guest needs. We booked a room with a balcony overlooking the sea. Did not disappoint. Very quiet, beautiful view. The room was well equipped for a three star rating. The cleanliness of the hotel should be highlighted. All areas are constantly cleaned by the staff. All staff members are very nice and helpful. No request is left unanswered or unattended. We had breakfast every day in the restaurant and several dinners. The breakfast offers a very rich choice. If you can't find the right meal for you, you'll find excuses elsewhere. The dinner menu is equally rich. The dishes include, of course, the fruits of Tangier, fish and freshwater fish. Poultry and pork, roast beef. Each dish is a unique poem. The stall is constantly maintained, always clean and tidy. Perhaps the size of the parking lot is a bit small, but we could always find parking on the street. We will return to Le Nautile Beach hotel if we can.…
We ended our holiday in Reunion with a couple of nights here in a sea view room as a real treat. It is in a stunning location being directly on the beach with access to sunbeds and snorkelling in the beautiful lagoon. The staff were friendly and helpful and I would recommend the massages from Audrey in a small pavilion in the garden overlooking the bay. Fabulous!
A Room with a Lagoon/ocian view is prity spectacula & can't stop watching the waves crash over the reef. Great setting great pool to relax in but the best is the beech with sun beds & umberellas provided . Evening meal I thoght was average for the money paid but there's not much choice from outside the hotel in the area. Service & staff are very helpful
The village itself does look like it had the best of times long gone (if ever) but the hotel itself is a nice 3star accommodation, with one older and one newer building separated by the restaurant/pool area. We had a 3 bed-ensuite which was of a reasonable size and with all cons you'd expect in such a place, including a/c, safe, TV, hair dryer. Slightly outdated furniture. The spacious veranda opened towards the pool. The room was on the first floor of the older building, no elevator, while the newer building has an elevator and beach view from some of the rooms. Free parking is inside the grounds and outside on the road. The breakfast buffet offered plenty, but nothing freshly cooked, only previously prepared. No baguette, only 2 kind of rolls which seemed to be homemade. However plenty of fruit and juices, choice of yogurts. We also had dinner there, for which you had to reserve a table beforehand. We ordered a mixed creole plate as an entry which is so big that it can easily be shared by two and which was a good choice. Mains consisted of local, seafood and international specialities and were fine, though a tad dearer than the offers in the local restaurants nearby. There was free wifi but terribly slow at times. The hotel seems to be popular with German tour groups, with all the disadvantages this arrangement brings. We would stay at a smaller hotel the next time to avoid the groups and get a service geared towards individual travellers.…
It’s a Beautiful hotel with a very good situation and Very nice staff. The Swimming pool rooms are not recommended. We had a very good dinner in its restaurant, totally recommendes. Activities offered
We only stayed on night at Le Nautile but we would have stayed a couple of days longer! The neighbourhod of the hotel itself felt a bit strange while driving there, but thats about it. Parking is possible within the compound or right next to it. The welcome at the hotel was warm, we were offered welcome drinks with/without alcohol. The room was sufficient with a small terrace with a table and chairs and view of the pool / dining area. The hotel has a direct access to the beach with its own beachchairs and some beach / ocean activities free of charge. Food was excellent with local cuisine and fresh fish. Overall Le Nautile is a cozy place for a vacation on the beach.
when you arrive through a doubtful neighborhood to the a little bit dingy looks hotel, you will be surprised his nice beach. Nice, really. Hotel is clean (like in Germany), with friendly and helpful staff. The rear building, separated from the entrance building of the restaurant and pretty good swimming pools, has an exit to the small garden, directly adjoining to the pretty, practically private beach (one of the few on the Reunion where you can safely swim). The rooms are spacious, nice, on the ground floor you have comfortable direct access from room to the beach. Really nice! Wi-fi is here free of charge, but terribly slow. The hotel is quiet, full of German retirees, with a rich "German style" breakfast. But be sure to avoid the Saturday "special creole buffet" with entertainment - a terrible meal for about 50-60 euros per person. On the contrary, you can definitely taste authentic Creole food on the street - for a few euros is really great. Recommended…
