We have been visiting Vasiliki for the past 4 years and we are excited to have come across this beautiful hotel! The location is the best for older people, kids, and anyone who wishes to wind surf. Its like a minute away from a huge beach Pondi, has a fantastic pool as well, and has everything you can ask for. breakfast, lunch ,amazing cocktails, and home cooked food as the family who owns it ,knows how to treat their guests! Prices are really good, and quality of service is remarkable. Spyros the owner ,is a very polite, and attentive man,who for sure make you feel like home. Next time you book your holidays consider this gem!
Hotel Odeon has very nice rooms, cleaned daily. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The rooms (I think all of them) have small balconies, perfect for drying towels and enjoying a drink or even a meal. We did not use the pool but it appeared spotless. The beach is steps away and it's perfect. There is a number of windsurfing places for every level, from beginners to advanced. Most of these also rent kayaks, boards and even bikes. The bar that serves breakfast for the hotel is excellent for food and drinks throughout the day.
When you arrive, it looks small and cosy, when you go behind the building there is a beachbar, chairs, lounches, and a nice ambiance. Good place to be!nice people who work here. We got a very big appartment! With everything you can possibly need.
Room was clean and spacious with a little kitchen suitable for preparing simple meals. The room had a nice balcony too. The hotel is right near the beach with a really lovely beach bar. We didn't get breakfast from the hotel but if you walk towards the town there are a few bakeries which are very pleasant.
My family and I (two girls, 9 and 11) have just returned from an amazing two weeks in Lefkada, including two nights in Hotel Odeon. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel to any type of traveller, and particularly to families. Spiros provided such a warm welcome after we arrived by local bus from Nydri. He saw that the girls were tired after a long ride (we were 'backpacking' with the kids) and gave them a glass of orange juice on the house straight away. We were immediately shown to our room on the top floor; a beautiful newly-converted and clean space. We stayed in Room 36, which sits the entire length of part of the building and so has north and south views from two separate balconies. The south view is from the main bedroom and looks out over the lovely new bar/café and gardens straight out to the sea and the amazing landscape. North is the view from the kitchen/lounge area where the girls were staying on a great big converted sofa. Each room has its own bathroom, which the girls loved. The bar/café is a very modern, chilled place to sit day or night looking out to sea and watching the world go by with great music and lovely food. The breakfast is brilliant, and is clearly made and delivered with care. Everything you can hope for is included, with pastries, fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereals, continental breakfast and warm items as well. We have been to Greek islands in many hotels for the past four years and this is certainly the best breakfast we've tasted so far. The pool at the front of the hotel, while on the main road, is still perfect for kids and the sun loungers offer a welcome rest. You do not notice the traffic at all as Vassiliki is a relatively small town. We were all really impressed with the vibe of the place, being a combination of beautiful small marina town (c800m east - a 10 min walk), a shore full of cool bars and watersports clubs (right in front of the hotel on the clean and peaceful boardwalk) and traditional tavernas (c300m west in Ponti). We absolutely loved our stay at Odeon. Spiros kindly drove us back to the bus stop for our return to Nydri, which was a very generous gesture. We even popped back in when we were driving around the island again in the second week, as our eldest had left some items in the room. Spiros found them and returned them to us, and we spent the rest of the day in the wonderful town. A fantastic jewel in lovely Vassiliki and one we would return to in a flash. Thanks to all the team for a great stay.…
Very cosy, nice, clean, well-furnished room with comfortable beds. Clean service every day did a hard and very good job to keep this place in perfect clean conditions. My family and friends have a lot of stuff here (bikes, windsurfs a so on) and there was a lot of safe places to store these things here. The hotel bar is very comfortable and able to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner for reasonable price. The hotel is situated near the sea with sunshades and sunbeds for free. Vasiliki is very popular windsurf spot for its perfect conditions for sailings sports. There are also some great knowledgeable instructors and is good value for money.
Lovely little independent hotel, spotlessly clean, right on sea front, Delicious breakfast with home made cakes that were so light, Very helpful and friendly staff with very good English. Free use of bicycles was nice touch and very useful. Resort is quiet and perfect for a relaxing break. Beach is made of large pebbles, need beach shoes to walk on it (very tough of bare feet).
My client has just returned from the Odeon Hotel and has asked me to leave her review on TA: Marion and I have never stayed at such a warm and hospitable hotel, it was rather like staying with extended family. The first evening we asked if they could order us a taxi into Vassiliki and Spiros said not necessary as Papa would take us as he did every evening without charging us. We always got a taxi home rather than bothering Papa again, unbelievable. Every time we ordered tea, coffee or drinks they gave us complimentary cake of nuts. Our room was like an apartment, spacious and beds were comfortable. The showers were however a bit old fashioned but we managed We had an amazing sea view, it was wind surfing paradise and the sea was warm and very calm. We highly recommend the Odeon Hotel…
We stayed with our daughter and two other friends. Absolutely spotlessly clean and a genuinely family run business. Everybody so friendly - including Rex the dog! The hotel has a very chilled beach bar called The Bar, beachfront with loungers and a sweet poolside area at the front of the hotel. Rooms spacious with good balconies and a small self catering unit. Nothing too much trouble. We will definitely return!! Thank you Spiros and family. Jan and Gary
We just visited this hotel during the busy season in August. It's a perfect location to the beach and nearby restaurants. The beach is family friendly with lots to do. Spiros is very accommodating and friendly. The beach bar employees, especially Vasili, went over and beyond for us. The rooms are clean and organized with great views of pool or beach. The only downfall I would say is that around 3-4pm the wind surfers are in full force (all out) which makes the beach very busy. You need to be at a constant look out for them while in the water. Also, if you are looking to experience the Greek culture, this area is definitely not the place. We didn't feel like we were in Greece at all other than the food/tavernas. I would suggest that more umbrellas and sun bathing chairs should be added. I had to wake up at 7am to ensure me and my family had shade. Other than that it was great!…
