Thank you to all the fab staff at the Divani Palace Hotel, Corfu. Thanassis gave us bus tips on arrival at 11 pm! Buy tickets from the mini market to save money, not on bus! Restaurant staff so professional and helpful, and a laugh! Tokis, Maria plus Christos at pool bar too. Short bus ride to buzzing Corfu Town where eating out won't break the bank. Rooms clean and overlooking lagoon and airport runway. Woukd go again and recommend this quiet and civized hotel situated near Kanoni Sq up the hill which is definitely worth a visit. Not to mention Mon Repos.

This place is fantastic, for August it wasn’t too busy. The hotel itself has amazing views and you can walk to Kanoli which has even better views and you can get a bus straight into Corfu town at €1.70 one way! You can also get a bus back from Kanoli for same price as i wouldn’t recommend walking in the dark as it’s a main road as long as you have your whits about you you will be fine. The breakfast here is one of the nicest Buffett breakfasts I have had in a Greek hotel . Plenty of selection and very fresh and hot! Pool area is nice but bar was a little overpriced! Thanks for a lovely comfortable stay!

The breakfast was excellent. The staff were so friendly. The pool was exceptionally clean and big. There was never any issue getting a lounger or chair at the pool. We loved the quiet location. The restaurant food is reasonably priced but the drinks are expensive (5 euro for a can of coke). However, there were a few mini markets close by to buy snacks and drinks and keep them in your fridge in the room. Location - there were a couple of nice restaurants within a ten-minute walk. Also, an excellent ice cream place next door to the hotel. The bus runs right outside the hotel (take the 2A to Old Town if you want a more lively evening/day time). Also, there are very few pavements. We walked down to the Monastery at the bottom of the peninsula (be warned there are a fair few steep steps down or you can walk the road way) and watched the planes land. There is also a tiny beach here. The bus can take you further afield to other beaches, if you wanted. This is a great base for either a poolside relax or as a base to explore the island. The bus runs very regularly and is 5 euros for a day pass or 1.70 euro for a single trip. There are also a few things within walking distance if you are up for hiking in the heat. For example, Mon Repos is about a twenty minute walk. We also walked to and from the airport so we could explore the immediate area - it is a little dicey but not impossible. We couldn’t hear the noise of the planes from our room at all but we were around the back if the hotel. Minor negatives: The soft drinks prices were high. The shower was not easy to negotiate - we had to hold the shower head to shower, however this didn’t bother us, but it might be an issue for some.

We stayed two nights, and we really liked it. The GOOD: - The swimming pool area is spotlessly clean; - The swimming pool bar and restaurant is a dream, and the cocktails and service by Christos are second to none; - The room was spacious, clean, with wonderful Daikin air conditioning; - The breakfast is great. - The common areas are very elegant. The BAD: - It's in front of the airport runway so it's quite loud! It didn't bother us during the day, but you really notice it at night and early morning; - The dinner was meh, with the service a bit stressed/rushed; - The pillows are hard as rock. - The people upstairs made quite a lot of noise walking/dropping stuff on the floor.

We booked this last minute due to a change in travel plans and spent one night before flying back to the UK. Corfu town was super busy, so this hotel was the last one available. It’s in a very odd location in a run down neighbourhood on a hill outside of the town overlooking the runway of Corfu airport. Great for plane spotters and fans of the sound of two 737 engines at full throttle! It’s a €20 taxi ride or a €3:00 bus ride to the old town. So to the property itself. On arriving it’s like being transported back to the 1980s. The building reminiscent of a secondary school circa 1985, complete with orange wooden chairs, lashings of formica accented with gold trim, pink candle wick bedspreads and lots of floral patterns, not forgetting the mustard curtains and my favourite the good old shower curtain that no matter what you do sticks to you! The waiting staff are all adorned with clip on bow ties and polyester trousers but are friendly and helpful and the staff on the morning at Reception were incredibly welcoming, helpful and chatty. The breakfast is a rather bland affair with a fresh juice machine that squirts out water followed by some orange cordial and the coffee from a douwe egberts machine. You get the picture! I imagined my grandparents staying here back in the day on a package holiday and finding it all rather exotic when compared to their bungalow in Croydon. It is however very clean in the rooms and public areas, the bed was comfortable and the air con worked. Due to the age of the hotel the rooms aren’t sound proofed so you will be party to your neighbourhood activities! The pool was nice for a dip and had a bar beside it. All in all if you have a passion for aviation and the 80s was your decade then this hotel is for you. If not perhaps look elsewhere.

We stayed at the divani hotel in Corfu for 11 nights with our 3 children and I have to say the hotel was amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Anna and Spiros at Reception. The lunchtime food was absolutely delicious and we were never stuck for choice. The lifeguard Costas by the pool was incredible with our children too and always had an extra pair of eyes on them. Christos at the bar was always so friendly and always had a smile on his face when serving us and was also brilliant with the children. I have to rate this hotel with 5 stars and cannot fault it. We watched the aeroplanes take off from our room balcony everyday and the children really enjoyed it. The pool was so big and clean and child friendly. I would definitely stay here again, fantastic location too as it was only 5 minutes from the old town by car which was also fantastic. There was also a supermarket 2 minutes down the road with everything we needed for the children. Overall a great stay and one to remember. Thank you to the staff who looked after us on our stay. We hope to visit again. The Panteli Family.

My partner and I had a really good time at Divani, our favourite part being the lovely pool area. The staff were so friendly and helpful too. We enjoyed being able to see the airport runway from our balcony and spent time watching the wonderful view of Corfu and the planes taking off and landing. The buffet breakfast also has a great selection. We would definitely love to return here.

We had a lovely one night stay here before we left to go to paxos. We were greeted by very friendly and courteous staff. We found the hotel extremely clean with good amenities. The buffet breakfast was amazing, with a huge choice. Comfortable beds, good size pool with loungers. Good pool bar. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for two nights. On the first night there was an excellent buffet in the restaurant but on the second night, as there were so few guests requiring dinner, we were offered the Room Service menu in the rstaurant as clearly the hotel could not be bothered to do a small buffet when no ‘groups’ were staying! My caesar salad was sadly inedible! The food and drink offerings at breakfast were also poor quality: ‘hot’ food was almost cold and the quality of the coffee was not good at all. As this is a supposedly four star hotel, this is definitely one to avoid if you, like me, expect decent food at all meals for the price paid!

I spent 1 week there. The hotel is old and nothing compared to the pics. I booked this hotel for the gym pictures and it is just ridiculous, the gym is really small and the equipments must be there since 1920. It is definitely not a 4 stars, but I would expect that since we are in Corfu. I had a problem with the shower but i didn't complain about that and they were apparently ready to fix it. The thing that shocked me and the reason I'm doing this review is the lack of interest of the guy at the reception when I told him that few items of mine were missing from my bedroom. He didn't care at all. I asked him twice if He understood me and he said yes but just didn't care. Nothing expensive because I don't travel with expensive stuff but still someone throws them away or stole them. They were some souvenirs I bought... stuff that stayed in my room until my last day before packing my lagguage again, at least I thought they were still there in the plastic bag... Very disappointed
