We spent a relaxing week in Almyra. We recommend the area for the scenery. The hotels beach is really nice. The rooms are old but ok. We read various comments on the web but in the end it is all subjective. The food at the restaurant is exactly what someone can expect from an all inclusive hotel. Good quality and...

This hotel deserves a no review at all. I've been meaning to write something about this place but couldn't find the time. Don't bother with this place... It's pure rubbish. Rooms were terrible! The only reason we had a good time was due to the people we met there. It's not a 4 star... It's a no star!

The beach in front of the hotel is one of the big advantages. The building is rather old but clean. The rooms need more equipment. The restaurant has a nice buffet with variety of food. The service needs improvement.

We spent in the hotel 11 nights at the end of August 2015 – family of two adults and two kids (7 & 10), so we had a family room – spacious enough - with bunk beds and all inclusive boarding. The hotel and the staff was OK, the rooms were clean, bed linen exchanged every third or fourth day,...

We visited Almyra early this month with my husband and my 2 year son and we had a wonderful time! The clear waters, the astonishing view, the large room, the beautiful gardens, the silence although the high season, the delicious and high quality food, the cleaning service, everything was just as they should be to make our holidays a dreamy...

If you are a family and want peaceful vacations in Crete, then this is for you. I was told that this part of the island was not so good, but they were so wrong! The private beach was perfect, so we only visited the pool for enjoying some drinks. The room was fine, (definitely ask for one with a sea...

The first and the main drawback of the hotel is overbooking. We had been sent to another hotel for 2 nights, because there were no family rooms. The administrators was quite friendly, except one, Spyros. We were lucky, because that hotel (Petra Mare) was very good. In comparison with it the food in almyra was very simple, sometimes even cold....

Visited Almyra last month(July that is). Liked The scenery The crystal waters The food The cleaning service Did not like The guests reserving with their things the sunbeds and the whining about the wind. I guess they had never traveled in Greek islands in July / August. We traveled as family with two kids and we had a nice week...

I am truly baffled by the bad reviews of The Almyra Hotel and Village for 2016 and can only imagine that these people had a very unreal set of expectations. I stayed at the Almyra in mid-July 2016 and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the services, great staff, great food and in general, a well-managed operation. The reality...
