This is a restaurant with rental cabins in a prime location in Denali National Park area. The restaurant has good food, good rustic atmosphere, and friendly wait staff. Anything good about this location ends there. We made reservations on line more than 6-months in advance at a rate of $140+/night expecting a nice cabin with in room Wi-Fi. On arrival...

We booked what we thought was a cabin but it turned out to be a 4th rate motel from with dangerous power leads and quadruple adaptors for fridge and TV.We were shown where to park outside the cabin but when we went to park there were other cars badly parked and when we complained the manager said bad luck it...

Food was wonderful . Had the salmon. Super. Only downside was missing out on the 10% discount we were due from eating at the pizza place. The chowder was brill. Good selection of beers to try. Portion sizes were excellent and I had difficulties finishing the main course so had to go without dessert.

When I arrived I learned I got upgraded so that was great. Stayed in the family suite instead of a regular cabin. The suite was nice. Master bedroom (only bedroom) had a very comfortable and clean king size bed. There were 2 nice futon type sofa beds in the living room. It took me talking to 3 different people to...

The room was clean and nice beds, the food at the bake is really great, the price is clearly cheaper vs the lodge around. It s located close to many shops so quite nice in general. But the salmon Bake is proposing that shuttle that is just a nightmare. When we arrived the shuttle was late (it was raining), when...

Stayed here 3 nights and was not impressed. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant had great food, but the cabin we stayed in was small, not very clean and smelled pretty musty. Since there were two couples sharing one bathroom, we had to use the "common" bathroom a couple of times and that was pretty disgusting! The...

DO NOT go to this place for a "cabin" if you want a nice place to stay close to Denali. For $149 a night we stayed in Cabin #2 with drywall tape and mud on the bedroom ceiling, an AC thru the wall unit with an extension cord, and a dingy, nasty bathroom. We asked for light bulbs for the...

After reading some reviews we didn't know what to expect. In the same token, we have two boys ages 10 and 13 who have been very 'spoiled' when it comes to accommodations (dad travels a lot and we use point to hotels on vacations, so they are used to the best). At the beginning of our trip we stayed in...

We had breakfast, lunch and dinner at this place, so that says it all. The service we received the first time was so great, it probably overshadowed the other two times we came here. We had the halibut tacos, bison burgers, yak-o-dilla (yak quesadillas) - all were fantastic and pricing is really reasonable. The real standout however are the halibut...
