Cabins are basic. There is no refrigerator. We stayed by the river cabins, which I don't suggest as it has partial view and river color is dark due to silt. It is 6 miles drive to Denali park entrance.

The cabins were on the small side (two small beds barely slept four), but we didn't go to Denali to stay inside! While the room was very basic with few amenities (I expect a little more for the price) our room was very clean - a must for me. There was a bit of traffic noise which was mostly masked...

Mattress was one step above real camping, but impeccably clean room, bath and external sink. Cute little places with a fresh-cut wood smell, and river rapids sounds to lull you to sleep, though occasional road noise on the bridge. Inexpensive breakfast, and coffee. Tip: Book your bus tour of Denali with your hotel reservation for not only a discount, but to...

First time in Alaska and a travel company sent us here when I asked for a "rustic but upscale" cabin experience! Wow, not what I ordered!! It was like camping out but with a roof over your head. Beds like stone, heater that smelled of propane when lit. Worried I would die of carbon monoxide during my sleep. Dark and...

Our unit we slept in on the night of August 9th had no hot water the morning of the 10th. I had to report it through the toll free number, because no one answered the front desk phone. The person said the maintaince guy will be out in 30 min. After more than an hour we came back from breakfast...

It's not the Ritz but I wasn't expecting that. The cabins are small but very cute and rustic. The beds weren't very comfortable but we were able to sleep. The carpet, bed linens and blankets seemed pretty old and need to be updated but they were clean. We felt like we were "roughing it" and had a great 2 nights....

Denali River Cabins is about 5 miles south of the main entrance to Denali National Park and six miles south of the so-called Glitter Gulch which is the main hotel, restaurant, and tourist service area for Denali National Park. This distance was a bit of an inconvenience, but for the cost saving it was worth it. In Alaska you need...

Had these been presented as rustic cabins, for an appropriate price, they might have met expectations; but they are sold as though they have the amenities of a hotel room; at over $200 per night. Be warned, there is no hot water in the cabins. The management has known of this problem for at least a few weeks, and seems...

I can't believe all 48 or 49 of the current reivews are all 5 stars??? Maybe the tours are great, but the lodging offered by ATT is not always all that great. Avoid the Denali River Cabins unless you like cold showers. We stayed in July 2013 and had minimal hot water with maybe a lukewarm 85F at best, which...

I got bit by bed bug last night and I called the front desk to let them know. The person picked up the phone said, "we do not have bed bugs in Alaska because it is too cold here". I said that bed bugs live wherever people live. I asked for the manager to come and check out the cabin....

Dear Jacque, It is surprising and distressing to read your review regarding our property. We work very hard to provide a clean and safe environment for our guests, and your unsubstantiated claims are not only disturbing, they do not accurately reflect the circumstances of your visit. There were no bed bugs found in your room by anyone on our staff....
