We have just come back from a lovely week at the Aeolian resort. We are fairly experienced Neilson (and Mark Warner) devotees and thought this resort ticked all the boxes. Normally I spend 4 hours a day on the water sailing leaving a sailing widow on the beach. This time I decided to concentrate on tennis and was delighted that...

Just read Jenniek's and Chriswrights - and I agree with all they say. This a brilliant place to go - even if you are in your 70s as we are. Loved the sailing, canoes, paddleboards, biking, exercise classes, aqua AND lying around the pool or sampling the cocktails. Brilliant food too - thanks George and co. Just book it and...

Great holiday here last week with superb weather and sunshine for early May - 27 degrees. As usual Neilson at their best. Great facilities - no one could complain there isn't an activity for you! Cycling was amazing - in just a few minutes the ride was through tracks and trails either to a local village or into the beautiful...

Just got back from our second Neilson Holiday, we went to Vasaliki last year so somewhere different this time but this was a very different holiday. We went as a couple so the review is more from that perspective as opposed to a family going with children. Where as Vasaliki is a Windsurfers paradise and very good to learn to...

It was simply great. If you go here and don't enjoy it there is only one person to blame! We were upgraded to a suite that over looked the tennis court which was perfect for us although there was so much going on we were rarely in it. Food was excellent and plentiful. The cooks created different dishes every day...

Fantastic active holiday! Highly recommend this place! Was learning how to windsurf with great instructors. Staff are very friendly and the resort offers loads of activities and attractions for every one! I would recommend it to singles as you will meet loads of lovely people there!

Facilities were amazing, sports equipment and kids clubs were all excellent. Food was wonderful, chefs and waiting staff were wonderful. Bar staff and reception staff were helpful and enthusiastic. Beach staff were varied, some extremely good and helpful, others just wanted to tell you about their party lifestyle and scrounge for free drinks from guests. Some activities, like beach volleyball...

We went in the last week of the season so there was quite a strong rep presence which bothered some people but we didn't mind, it was great fun! The tuition was great, friendly staff, excellent all-you-can eat style food (you need as much as you can) and a picturesque town. We found the beer was much cheaper in the...

Aeolian Village is the ideal location for a Neilson type holiday people friendly, local village is beautiful and an easy 15 minute walk . However this holiday started badly , when we got to the check-in at Gatwick we were told we were not on the list sent from Neilson to Thomas Cook , could not check us in !...

Just spent the last week of the season here, learning to sail. The staff where great as was the sailing tuition, and the food was fantastic, I would recommended the BBQ. For the nights without meals the village is a short walk away with some good restaurants and you can see the terrapins below the bridge as you go there
