Looking for a good hotel in Crete or a tourist village for a few days of vacation, we chose Europa Beach Hotel starting from the affordable cost and the photos on the site. Our experience: Accommodation for all tastes, from ground floor to second/third floor, garden view, sea view or swimming pool view ... We stayed in a comfortable and spacious double room (they allowed us to choose between two rooms - with a shower or bathtub), with a balcony with a beautiful view. Cleaned every day, with towels changed every time. The staff deserves to be applauded: all friendly and nice, starting from the reception and ending with the waiters. An international staff of brilliant entertainers; they speak several languages (English - French - German - Spanish ...) and are always on the move - sports competitions (volleyball, basketball, table tennis, court tennis, bowls, aquarium), games and competitions for children and adults from morning to 10 am evening. Lots of food and always different varieties: meat (veal, pork, turkey, lamb, chicken), fresh and cooked vegetables, cheeses, dried fruit, desserts, white and red wine, and beer at will ... I recommend the all-inclusive formula - when the restaurant is closed, the bars are open, and on the territory, there are three: the main bar in the foie of the central/administrative structure, and next to each swimming pool. Among other things, there is also a swimming pool for children, which makes holidays very comfortable for families with children and grandchildren. Sore points: As for the food, perhaps it is a bit difficult for Italians because the pasta, for example, is cooked a little more (not al dente, but the European type), and the coffee is not quite what it is used to in Italy……
This is my 3rd time in Crete (7th in Greece) and I am so happy I could spend my holiday in Europa Beach. I was looking for a quite place to load my batteries and I found what I was looking for. And even more. To be honest, I do not understand complaints of some people - before choosing the destination each of us is aware what kind of place we decide to go. Moreover, it depends on us how we want to spend our holiday time. All Staff is very very friendly and helpful - many thanks to Rena and Magdalena from the Reception, and George, and Efi and the Bay Watch Rafael and Kimonas (thanks for advising 🐟, it was delicious) and Evripidis who supported me with the special Italian dinner and Daniel who cares about all of these beautiful plants, trees, bushes & flowers. The garden is just amazing 🤩 You are the best team! 😍🥰 I was in different hotels in Greece, from 3* to 5*. Each time there are pros and cons. As I wrote above, it depends what we expect - modern equimpent, 5 pools, 50 dishes etc. I agree - furniture could be newer. Nevertheless this hotel is absolutely worth considering spending nice time in Greece. Analipsis is a small, quiet and lovely place. I fully recommend it to relax, rest and spend a lovely time in Europa Beach Hotel. I am really happy I came here, despite someone couldn't join me. All The Best, Magdalena…
We had a lovely time Service was good Clean hotel Lovely food Drinks were OK Room was cleaned every day Pool was cleaned every day By the beach Felt welcomed Special thanks to barman Antonis Pool bar Efi Lifeguard Rafahl Manager Pasquale Dining area Niki and Evri Cleaner zina Receptionist Magdalena and Rena
Typical hotel for a family, but boring for adults and teens. The pool was cool, the hotel has also a second pool and is located 10 meters far from the beach. The Staff was very nice and friendly. I give 8/10 for the food they offer, it wasn’t that bad but sometimes it was poor. What annoyed me at most, is that the rooms and their equipments are too old. Overall I give the hotel a 3.5/5.
The best thing about The Europa Beach Hotel Crete is the remarkable dedication, professionalism and smiling service of the staff. From reception to the cleaners, they are wonderful without being too attentive. We arrived late but check in was good with a welcome cool drink at 1.15 in the morning (late flight). Remember to add the tourist tax of 3 Euro per day. The room although very clean and functional was disappointing in the signage for hygiene tissue disposal (wont go into that further, but not what expected of a four star hotel). The beds are very, very firm. Found it difficult to sleep. Hopefully the hotel can adjust this going forward. The hotel seems small but there are hundreds of rooms and even though we came for a wedding in late September, groups were still arriving daily. The facilities are very good, tennis court, two pools, beauty salon (but the complementary massage MUST be within two days of arrival). The food which is plentiful and well cooked seems to cater for general holiday makers, rather than authentic Greek food. Avoid the wine, which should be better. The Al carte restaurant meal (one per customer per stay) is of a higher standard and a welcome change. The fresh fruit, breakfast and lunch are good, considering the large numbers to cater for, but personally I would wish for more Greek dishes but it was well executed. The evening entertainment is excellent for families and groups, lively and fun with different themes throughout the week. With the ALL INCLUSIVE option you can have a very good experience with good staff, facilities including car hire at the hotel, snack bar, children's play area and well tendered grounds. A small beach, one of many is right opposite the hotel but you must walk 10- 15 minutes to the local restaurants, some of which we tried with great Swordfish, Chicken and other Greek dishes for under 30 Euros for two. Overall, the Europa Beach Hotel has a great staff, service and facilities but needs to refocus attention on the rooms and hygiene. A good stay at the end of season. I would love to return soon and see it improve to meet my 4 star expectations.…
How this hotel has 4 stars can somebody explain to me? I have room with sea view, great, others views are in fields of dusts. When I enter the room it was not clean, some hair on floor but nevermind the highlight was that in one of the glasses that should be clean there was water inside...old, dirthy but the disaster part is the food. OMG. Juices are all like syrup, food is like with no taste at all. Plastic glasses...not worth for money. Also there is a beach outside, 6€ two seats. Internet not very good. Staff are very kind. It is only thing that i should say, really really kind. There is a la card restaurant.
Good service, clean rooms tasty restourant. Has a good sea water pool with bar the only downside is that it does not have a beach and because of waves it is hard to swim in the front beach. Other then that you enjoy your stay and staff is very friendly.
I went in August with my Family means wife + 2 Boys (1 and 4 years old) and it was actually ok. There was a variaty of Food to choose, the Drinks are not good but the Food was ok. The Service in some cases very good, but the Restaurant Manager was very unfriendly to us, and I guess it was because of my Kids doing some mess with the Food (Hello! they are Kids! and I tried to clean it up). It is supposed to be an All Inclusive hotel, but when I asked for milk for my Baby the Restaurant Manager said NO. Unbelievable! No common sense from him. Apart from that, the pools and activities are ok, there is no much room for Kids to Play, so, if your idea is to give your Kids some fun activities they wont find them there. There is only a small playground outside and a sort of Kindergarten room where Kids can built some stuff and Color some papers and thats it. Important! There is NO DIRECT BEACH, for that you have to walk outside of the hotel to the next closest beach and pay for the Umbrella and seats.…
I went there with my partner and two daughters (age 4 and 9) back in April 2019 and we all loved it. Staff were lovely, food amazing! I was literally on feta cheese diet! And the desserts, oh so yummy! We took taxi to Cretaquarium (which was mediocre), our taxi driver was very nice and honest with price. The only downfall was, that the water pool was ice cold, but it was the beginning of the season, so no wonder. Rooms were cleaned daily, but the beds were really hard (to my own opinion uncomfortable, but everyone is different). The manager of the hotel was also very friendly and told me a story about the island opposite the hotel, which was nice. There is a lot of French tourists. I am lactose intolerant, it would be nice to be able to drink coffee with lactose free milk. Games room was however terrible and beer had so much froth it was impossible to pour it into the glass. Wine from the tap not nice at all. But all of the cocktails were lovely. Overall we had only good memories from these holidays and we would go back there again.…
Me and my husband spent 6 days in Europa Beach Hotel and we absolutely loved it. If you are looking for the best place to spend your vacations, see my review below. 1. The staff: the whole staff of the hotel is really kind and helpful: they make sure the visitors have all the necessary guidence and support. No matter whether it is the receptionist, the bartender, the cook, the cleaners or the manager, they all are very supportive and positive. Most of the staff spoke multiple languahes including English, fluent French, German, Russian and maybe more that we did not hear. 2. Room services: the rooms were cleaned on a daily basis: the cleaning lady provided us with new clean towels every single day. The room had a TV, a little fridge, an AC and a hair dryer - all the conveniences we would need. 3. Food: having taken the all inclusive option, we were treated with the best breakfast, lunch and dinner with no food limitation. The food was very tasty and varied from day to day. Unlimited access to soft drinks and coffee. Clean utensils and canteen. Even between the lunch and dinner times we could help ourselves to the pool snack bar as much as we wanted. 4. Other: the hotel had entertaining programs for each day and for all age groups: karaoke, pool fitness, pool games, basketball, voleyball, concerts, national dances ... we were not bored for even a moment. The pool was huge and always clean. The area was very green with trees and flowers. The whole complex was like a little paradise. For people who prefer passive vacations, this place is a real jack-pot. We did not go to the beach even once as the hotel complex provided us with the whole conveniences for the best relaxation. We highly recommend the hotel to both couples and families. …
