The owner can be realy rood. He yells at everything. Does not want to listen or cooperate. There are rats. I saw one by the swimming pool. No one does anything about that. It like they do not care. It is far from any restaurants. The only good thing is that it's close to the sea.
I read the other reviews but we stayed in the new/refurbished room, for the price it was excellent. Very friendly service from Michael. The pool was spotless and a great size and depth. We were only there for one night for a wedding at the Stella Palace but it did the job can thoroughly recommend Kasapakis.
Travelled here on my own to a wedding. Was looked after by Michael and Maria the owners. My room was very clean. The lunchtime pizza was fabulous. Handy location to get on the little train that takes you around the ares
Michael and Maria offer a very friendly welcome with great pizza and wonderful tzasiki along with gyros, burgers and salads all at very reasonable prices. A must for lunch or dinner. Good choice of cocktails too.
I believe part of the hotel has been renovated. However we stayed in the older rooms. These rooms were very tired and run down. The toilet seat was broken and the sink was smashed and hanging onto the wall. The worst part was arriving to the room to find a poo in the toilet. We told the staff that the toilet seat was broken. They said they would fix it. We returned to the room to find that their solution was simply to pick the broken toilet seat up and put it back on top of the toilet. We didn’t stay the night and moved elsewhere. The hotel is cheap and you get what you pay for.
I stayed here the second week of May 2018 as a couple. The hotel has 37 rooms with gorgeous sea views. We stayed in a twin room not sure if they have a double bedded room, we pushed the beds together and it was ok. The room had bunk beds in the lounge along with a kitchenette consisting of 1 hob ring, a fridge, sink and drainer and place settings for 4, a nice glass topped table and 4 chairs. No toaster or kettle, but 2 saucepans that doubled up as a kettle and hot water supply. Our room had 2 balconies, and a table and 4 chairs on the balcony with sea views and another hotels pool and gardens. The bathroom was an ok size with no shower curtain and a powerful mixer shower. The beds were comfy with a choice of pillows, blankets, the room was quite hot even in early May, So i recommend shelling out for the aircon at 7euros a day. There was a safe for 14euros a week. The room key doubles up as the power supply like you get in hotels like prem inns etc. The apartment had clean curtains and bedding, the maid came in 6 days out of 7, change the towels a couple of times a week and the bedding too. The 14'' tv didn't work and a handle came off the door, but that just added to the charm of the place. The only let down was cold showers, there was no hot water in the morning, and it was tepid at best in the evening for a few hours. Maybe this will be better in high season, so I boiled pans and poured the warm water over myself it's not ideal but ok for a holiday. That aside the room was quiet and we both slept really well. The pool is fresh and clean, around 25 sunbeds and a parasol between each pair with a small table. The wifi was a bit hit a miss, very slow and only accessible in a few places around the pool but free. There is a community of cats living here and a lovely little dog called Lara, she is very friendly and loves her belly being tickled. The hotel overlooks the beach, which is rocky with rock pools to explore. Walk a bit further up or down the road and you can find swimming areas. We found about 6 restaurants along the beach front and a few more up the side walks and in Analipsis shopping area. There are plenty of mini supermarkets, but one of note is nearer to the restaurants and is the largest, friendly service with a hot food and sandwich bar. We ate out every night and ate once at the hotel, which was great, they have a well stocked bar and will make snacks for you at lunchtime, We loved our stay at Kasapakis Mike and Maria are the perfect hosts and will do anything to help you and make your stay as great as possible. Let me tell you something, give you some advice... I didn't want to leave.…
Good price, friendly staffs, good location but not well organised.. Wifi is only available in the lobby, breakfast is very simple. No hot water at night (maybe they just have a certain amount of hot water per day). Some people complained about cats or a dog in the lobby, but for me, it was totally okay. My experience in Kasapakis was alright
Arrived At 2 O Clock In the morning to find the room unbearably hot. went to reception to ask about air conditioning as mentioned in web site and was told it was an extra 7 euros a day i.e. 70 euros for 10 days. no mention of cost on web site. Felt disappointed as air conditioning was necessary.
Kasapakis good food room swimming pool restaurant near beach is very good ,restaurant near beach is OK train bus near cities olivian tree and all is OK ,church near beach is very good ,I come back here next year come back all ,
Went here for dinner tonight, 1 and half hour wait for food, eventually came worst meal we've had since being here, food was cold, chips full of grease just slapped on the plate and the meal was tasteless. Would not recommend.
