We loved it here although it was only 3 nights, room and bed were comfortable although spartan by some standards. The pool however was excellent and uncrowded as most people were Sight seeing. Ideal short stay venue for families. Easy bus access to and from Heraklion just 1 street over. The staff were friendly especially George on the front desk and Katerina who prepares the breakfast which Were amazing for quality and choice. We told her we were leaving at 7 am and a packed breakfast was waiting for us. A great 3 days to start our Greek trip.

We loved our stay ! We stayed 4 nights at the beginning of June. The hotel is very well situated, just 10 minutes by car from the port of Iraklio and far enough to be in a quiet place. The staff is always so kind and smiling, the room is clean, the breakfast is very good, the pool and the view are great ! There are many very good restaurants nearby and accessible from a 5 minutes walk by the beach (Aris Katerina Taverna and Thigaterra!!). We sure will be recommending this hotel !! Marie & Cédric

Only stayed one night after visiting Knossos, but the kinda place you wish you planned to stay more. Right on the beach with a private balcony with sea view. Very friendly front desk. Great breakfast with a lot of variety. Private parking. Really good restaurant a few doors down. Really could not be more pleased with my stay.

I stayed here for 9 nights. It is well situated, right at the start of Amoudara Beach. My room on the ground floor was very comfortable, with a double bed, bathroom and a little balcony with table, chairs and a clothes airer - very good for drying wet towels and swim wear. The breakfast was fine, a good choice , served by very helpful staff. A short walk past the swimming pool ( very clean and warm, lovely to swim in ) and you are right on the beach which is sandy and the water is clear and warm. There are plenty of good restaurants and shop nearby, including a large hypermarket only a few minutes away. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Went there just after Crete reopend after the Corona lock-down. Akti Corali is situated between the centers of Heraklion (10 min by car) and Amoudara (10-15min walk). The hotel has a swimming pool and direct access to the beach. Most tourists or locals probably enter the beach nearer to Heraklion or Amoudara meaning that the beach in front of Amoudara is relatively quiet. The beach would be perfect for families with small children as there is enough room to play around. Amoudara is a perfect starting point to explore crete. We hired a car with Holliday cars just across the road and got a nice discount because were staying in Akti Corali. Rental cars can be parked for free at the hotel grounds. The room is decent although the matrass was too hard for my liking. Shower is warm and all rooms have a small fridge and a balcony. Would recommend for a couple of days!…

Fine hotel, excellent staff, good breakfast. The close beach is large , sand is excellent.The pool bar is very attractive, prices are quite low. The rooms are clean and everything is taken care of a daily basis

The hotel was excellent, clean, tidy everywhere, excellent staff, and a very good breakfast with a good choice. it is a good location and only a short trip to Heraklion by taxi or bus, the taxi was same price as bus, so used them a lot.

We had a great time, the staff are are very friendly, rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. Breakfast had lots of choice and the pool bar was great. Lots of beach bars only a short walk and heraklion is only a few minutes in the car. We hired a car from, Mustang just around the corner and got a great price, there are afew restaurants nearby to eat at or you can get a bus or taxi to amoudara centre which only takes a couple of minutes. You can walk but we chose not to as we hired a car and also with young children in the heat it might be abit too far. There are plenty of sun loungers around the pool and the pool area is nice and clean. We are sad to leave. Overall we had a great time, water city is a must! We had a great day there.

Our stay at Akti Corali Hotel was absolutly lovely! It was a short cab ride from the airport and from the minute we arrived we felt calm. Alex and George at the reception were always nice and helpful and answerd all of our questions. The room was always clean and we felt safe leaving our things there. The pool is amazing and wasn't crowded even in the middle of the summer which was so nice. The pool bar has delicious and fairly priced drinks and food. The beach is very close (less than 1 minute walk) and it has a private entrance from the pool. The breakfast is nice and there is a variety to choose from, including fresh vegtebles, eggs, cheese, fruits and much more. The coffee is very good. They were so kind, on the day of our flight we had to check out by noon and they let us keep our luggage at reception and told us we could use the pool as much as we want. We will defenetly come back!…

Staff are practical and helpful; easily accommodated us upon arrival which was after midnight due to a delayed flight, and changed our room straightaway; there was a sewage smell in the first room. We loved it then. Room was well air conditioned and clean, with a balcony with sea view. There a swimming pool and hotel is a few min walk to the beach where there are more amenities, bars and beds to hire. Staff are relaxed and friendly all.
