Being a literature major, this place named after a book called The Schoolmistress with the Golden Eyes caught my attention immediately. As I was dragging my luggage on the cobble-stoned streets of medieval Molyvos, I regretted I took no notice of the warnings of people who struggled with their luggage to reach this pension located in the traditional market up...

At the end of september I visit Molivos, Lesbos and stayed at this lovely Pension wich is located in the best part of Molivos. The view is just faboulus, nearly undescrible beatyful. The owner do his very best to make your stay comfortable. Close to everything you might need, supermarket, bakery, bank etc. I highly recommend this nice and "homelike"...

The hotel is situated off a lovely cobbled street right in town and the common areas are generally clean. The views are spectacular however the rooms on the first floor do not have as uninterrupted views as expected. The room is basic, no windows, only doors to the small balcony which we needed to leave open because our room did...

Great place in nature and in the heart of the market. Every room has a balcony. There is a market five meters away to buy groceries. Clean and nicely furnished rooms. Some rooms with a view of the sea.

One of those hotels that you will never forget. A lot of character and personality. Small and family run. Great and friendly service. Fantastic views over the city of Molyvos. Great balconies. You can also request for BF for extra cost. The rooms are of medium size, basic, but meet the needs. There is a ref, and for modest extra...

Have stayed here many times over the years. Rooms are simple, clean and bright, all with private bathrooms. Front rooms have a beautiful view toward the sea. The location is excellent, with easy access to shopping and restaurants. Giorgus, the owner, is affable and helpful. I enjoy going back to that which is familiar. I value knowing people in this...

I stayed at this pension for almost 2 weeks in October and it was the perfect accomodation for me! The room and its bathroom were very clean and bright. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and eat my breakfast while admiring the sweeping views on the sea and the bay. Also, it was quite atmospheric to be able...

Located in the upper part of the city within the traditional market, the pension is close to souvenir shops, cafes and restaurants as well as to a bakery, a post office and a small medical centre. The only disadvantage of the location is the difficult access by car, which can be annoying especially when you have to carry your luggage...

The Schoolmistress (with the Golden Eyes) has become my local stay in Molyvos. Situated in the heart of the village on the main Agora (market) cobbled stone you are accessible to a variety of restaurants, cafes, post office, ATM machine and lots more! Yorgos (George) and his mom Maria are hands on owners who make you feel welcome and comfortable....

This sweet pension is just off the main market street in beautiful Molyvos. George was a gracious host, quick to meet all our needs. The room was clean and breezy. Adequate fridge space and simple shower stall. With a spectacular view of the sea from the balcony. We had asked for air conditioning but never used it. A plum tree...
