We stayed for two weeks at Casas Valleparaizo. Our cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Fantastic stay in a very cosy cottage in a fantastic garden. In the morning the peacocks came to show their feathers in the little private garden while we took our breakfast. You can walk to Funchal or Camacha by following the Levada that goes through the garden. Very friendly housekeeper and excellent service. One word TOP

In probably the most gorgeous valley of Madeira (we looked and haven't found a more beautiful spot on the island) lies this beautiful gem. We spent 4 weeks writing in one of the houses on this beautifully maintained garden estate, and we couldn't be more pleased. Or maybe I should say: blessed. Our house was perfect - just like the...

The service provided by the housekeeper Leonor is very warm and personal. A lovely island with great culture, history and nature. The Carnavalsparade was superb but we also noticed that the Madeiran people are very polite, well...
