Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Location in the greenery, tranquility and nature all around. The bungalow is very beautiful, furnished with care and taste, with a living area, kitchen (with large windows overlooking the garden), bathroom and bedroom. Outside there is a small terrace with two deckchairs. The kitchen is spacious and well organised, pay attention to the fact that there is nothing for cooking (usually you can find oil, salt and some condiments). Convenient location for the Furnas area. Recommended choice.

Liked · Pillow. I remember that I slept on a best pillow in my life, no joking. The entire building where you live is amazing, I felt like I was in Almodovar´s movie :) we arrived here in the middle of January, during a cloudy and dark evening. we were completely alone in the compound couple of nights, but it did not feel any dangerous. The driveway was muddy and narrow road and over the next days it started to be renovated, I guess to be ready for the summer season (did a bit of noise when buldozing, etc..) Breakfast was very good, ananas was fresh and juicy, lady serving us (and many mornings just us) was very kind and accommodating. Even though we did not share common language, we talked some times. I can imagine it could be perfect during summer season when one can enjoy also outside space of the property.
Disliked · It was January, so it was a bit cold. The apartment offered electric radiator, but it wasn´t enough for us to have enough heat inside, so we felt a bit cold sometimes. Especially during breakfasts when it was really cold inside. But we managed with tea and in jackets... :)

We stayed in the south part of the Azores islands in the Furnas village in the world's nests pods village. It's a beautiful place so tranquil, perfect for family or couples stay. House are beautifully designed with the eco approach, owners are very nice people. We had a wonderful stay, plenty of nature walks around, many waterfalls, parks, beach. Few good restaurants around. Feel renewed and energised after. Wonderful stay. 💚😊🐦

The pods are nice, well appointed. It’s located within the town so walking distance to many restaurants. Breakfast spread is quite decent. It’s strange that only 2 coffee pods are provided for the entire stay. Guests are required to purchase any additional. Biggest problem is communication with owners. They don’t reply to emails or WhatsApp unless multiple follow up requests are sent

The location is good and not too hard to find. The pods are well laid out and very spacious. Loved having the kitchen area. The breakfast was sufficient and the staff friendly and helpful. They have wine for sale , would love to see them sell the local wine. We did find some in town and enjoyed it . We would stay here again.

My 2 daughters and I stayed 2 nights at Worlds Nest. It was pure enjoyment. The house is well decorated and spotless, on the outside it is covered with thick cork sheets, for both heat / cold and noise insulation, beautiful, special and absolutely stunning. It is out to a small garden with a little roaring stream, so you get completely relaxed. We had free use from the small vegetable garden. There is no traffic noise at all even though the house is in the city with easy access to everything.It was a great experience to live at Worlds Nest.

We spent two days in Furnas for Hot Springs, the lake and the nature. We were looking for a bike rental to explore the lake and some trails in the woods but couldn't find one on the internet. Till we ran into Worlds Nests on our last day where we found Mountainbikes for rent.

We really enjoyed our 2 nights in Furnas, thanks to the very friendly staff, and this beautiful place. Nice, well equipped pods, integrated to the nature, with forest view, and small river in the backyard, but still walking distance from the center. Local products are offered at breakfast.

What a special place, surrounded by nature. Our family of four stayed 2 nights. It was the best accomodation we had on Sao Miguel! Loved it so much! The bungalows, the furniture, great beds, good kitchen en bathroom, great staff... Furnas is magical. Thanks for having us!

We spent a few fantastic days in one of the four bungalows in World Nests. The place is beautifully located right next to the forest, yet very close to town. The huts are brand new, elegantly designed and equipped with everything you may need. Oh, and you can rent great bikes for free! Staying here was a true highlight of our holiday.
