Clube Maria Luisa, is a cozy and quiet resort located in Olhos d'Agua, Albufeira, Algarve (southern Portugal). You can get here by plane, through the Faro International Airport about 30 km. From the Airport you can reach the facilities either by Transfer Service, Car, Bus or Train. The resort was built on top of a small hill, less than 100 meters from the beach. You can also take advantage of our fantastic swimming pool surrounded by a huge lawn garden. If you're the adventurer type Clube Maria Luisa can provide several activities such as excursions, theme parks, Quad, Jeep, Catamaran and fishing Experiences. We have T1 type apartments (2 + 2 pax) with TV, equipped kitchen, balconies (some overlooking the sea to the nearest beach: "Praia da Maria Luisa" (Balaia).

Little gem

I thought the cost of this holiday was too good to be true so didn’t expect much! How wrong was I ? This place tucked away near the beach was fantastic. We had room 9. A one bedroom apartment with pool view. It had everything we needed and more. If I had to complain about anything it would be the noisy people staying above us. Lesson learnt so I will book top floor next time! Tbe staff were lovely. The cleaner amazing. Made our beds and cleaned our room every day This town is away from the hustle and bustle of albufeira but a short bus trip if you want to test the water. Too lovely for me! The restaurants were lovely. Food gorgeous and prices so fair. Captains bar and top10 bar were great pubs with great hosts. Best restaurant definitely Adego Du. 8.50 euros for 3 courses. Wine coffee and a shot. Food was beautiful and service top notch. . …

Apartments are well furnished ,cleaned daily and towels changed every couple of days and beds every 4. Staff were very friendly.Steps to beach outside the complex and bars restaurants etc half a mile away.Might not suit people with walking difficulties or people who need to be next to the bars etc.Very quiet in November with a lot of places shut.

We stayed at Club Maria Luisa for a week this October and we wished we had stayed longer. The apartment was beautiful,spacious, well maintained and very clean. All the Staff are very friendly and very helpful. Very well located near the beautiful Maria Luisa Beach, and just a short walk to amenities, restaurants, shops and the Old village of Olhos De Agua with it's character and entertainment. We are looking forward to returning! We certainly recommend it. Maria & Ol UK.

Peace and quiet

Staying here at the moment and it's a pleasant experience all round. The apartments are spacious and very clean, the girls come in everyday to sweep and empty the bins. They work very hard. The pool area is lovely. Sometimes there are only a couple of people sat there. It's a great place to chill out with a book. The beach is literally 2 minutes away down some steps....and what a beach it is. The restaurants, shops and supermarkets are all within 10 minutes. Overall, we're having a very relaxing time hopefully continuing for the next few days.

Comfortable and quiet

This property had everything we needed for a great stay for a few days. Situated and two minute walk to the beach, and five-ten minute easy walk to restaurants. The rooms are definitely a little dated, but they are large, and have everything you will need, kitchen, fridge freezer, washing machine, tv etc. We loved that we could walk to the beach for a bit and then come back to the peace and quiet of the pool. We were there in the middle of the peak summer season and for a fair bit of the day, we were the only ones by the pool, which meant a pool lounge and palm tree for each of us! Reception were friendly and helpful, and booked us an airport transfer for our final day which turned up on time. It was €35 for two adults, two kids to the airport. We would happily stay here again as the beaches and beach restaurants are very family friendly.…

Hi how do you get into the town from the hotel

its a 5-10 minute walk or you can get a cab . If you head out of the complex its a slight incline for a few hundred yards carry straight on and you come out in the middle of town ,if you take the left fork you will come to some great restaurants and if you turn right just after the post office you will come down to the beach.And again just after post office are 3 sports bars (all great) . hope this is of help.

Going next year please could anyone tell me how much is Deposit for self catering apartments and cheaper supermarket thank you in advance

A 2 minute walk will take you to a small supermarket which has a limited expensive selection. If you carry on straight for around 10 mins there is a bigger supermarket, more selection and cheaper. Our preferred shop is Intermarche on the main road from Albufeira. There's everything you need. We walked there in 10-15 minutes. Plus there's the bonus of an ice cold drink or 2 next door. As far as I know there is no deposit at Clube Maria Luisa, we never paid one or were even asked to pay one. It's a lovely place, we loved it. We'll definitely be back next year. How long is the walk I to town from the hotel

Dear Mr. AllanT599, Thank you for your contact. We inform that the walk from the Resort to the Town should take approximately 25 minutes. But near the resort you have all the services and facilities, where you can get anything you need. Also you can take a taxi to the Town for around 8€. Best Regards, Clube Maria Luisa

How far are the shops a d supermarkets from this hotel

There is a small supermarket about 200m from the apartments. The larger Intermache is about 10 minutes walk on the main road into Olhos. Once you get your bearings you will find the quickest route
