There are numerous fantastic restaurants in the area. You will find it hard to eat in a bad one and nearly all are family friendly. The praca area of vale do lobo is great for families as is The Shack at Quinta do Lago lake which is near you. Monica's restaurant is fantastic. BJ's Oceanside diner is worth a trip and lots in Almancil itself. Taxis and uber are easy to use to get around.
