We stayed at the blas gwyr between Christmas and the new year for a wedding at a local venue and have to say it was the best time we had in the area . We had attended numerous other venues in the area but found this the most relaxing and welcoming place by far . Nothing was to much to...

Despite being Christmas night I was made very welcome with my small dog. Lovely warm room, generously heated. Super bathroom and good breakfast with friendly host. Twice the price at Christmas, but so is everywhere so could only afford one night, would like to have stayed longer. Highly recommend.

We had a good but brief stay at Blas Gwyr (1 night). Unfortunately the owner wasn't there when we arrived, so we weren't sure when breakfast was (Information in the room would be great). Breakfast however was lovely, it was a full welsh breakfast with real meat. The room was lovely and clean (photos added), a modern room with a...

Stayed for one night whilst attending a wedding nearby. The rooms are comfortable with fixtures and fittings to a high standard, albeit slightly unfinished in places. Breakfast was good and to a high quality.

Blas Gwyr is a boutique B&B with only 4 rooms so very cosy. Situated in Llangenntith at the end of the Gower Peninsula it's the perfect get away from it all location. With cooked to order breakfasts and cafe service in the afternoon it makes a perfect base for exploring the Gower and nearby parts of Wales or somewhere to...

Everything Beverly C (1.5.15) moaned at please reverse! Our lovely "cottage type" room was spotless....the welcome from Dafydd was as if we were long lost friends....his enthusiasm for all things holiday was infectious. He could have been dressed in a Ronald McDonald clowns outfit as far as we were concerned! His laid back demeanour added to the fact that we...

Couldn't have been made more welcome. Host was having a "do" to celebrate the launching of his new coffee shop on the night we arrived. Invited for free drinks and tapas and an opportunity to meet the locals. Really good base for touring the Gower and good modern accommodation. Ignore the previous review and go find out for yourselves. We...

First impression when you walk in is good, but everything after that goes downhill. Post code for the sat nav falls short of the property, and we had to ask directions. He should mention this on the confirmation email - simply say it right on the round-about! NO- one there to greet us as the owner was down the pub....

Blas Gwyr is a charming B&B in the lovely village of Llangennith on the western Gower Peninsula far from the crowds of Mumbles or Swansea. It is run by Dafydd Llyr James who has an interesting background in film and TV with the BBC and cooked us a delicious Welsh breakfast himself. He also gave us a great recommendation for...
