Lake Plitvice National Park is a beautiful area. However, it is rather disappointing to see Viila Sumrak in the middle of a construction site. There are several houses at different stages of construction within 200 metres of this holiday home. The approaching road is piled...More

Risotto for dinner and a great omelette the next morning. Room was large and comfortable and location is great. Highly recommend. October is a good time to visit as crowds are smaller.

Hi - agree with all of the above comments. You can easily walk to the entry point at the lake from the Villa & purchase tickets there. Just be aware they are one way on the lake, so you will be coming back a different way. Everyone was extremely helpful & speak very good English, so you won't have any problems with receiving assistance. The guides around the park are also easy to find. The evening meal at the Villa is well worth doing - great food & great opportunity to chat with other guests & the family members. The costs have been covered above also - the other good piece of advice is start early & try & beat the crowds!
