We had an extended stay and stayed in several of the rooms. My review will be mixed as there are positives and negatives. First of all the rooms are clean. Beds are very hard. Restaurant is lacking in variety. Don't use menu just ask what's available. Breakfast included is decent. Friendly staff. Price is lowest we've found. Would be nice if there was a Lounge area. A/C works good but other room it kept freezing over. Location is poor and far from airport. Risky part of Lagos. And not sure but I think a Nigerian outfit my son had was taken as it was the last we saw of it. So I am not sure I can recommend. So if on budget - Price wise it's very cheap and clean. Just watch your stuff.

I stayed here for about four nights with my husband. The staff were very friendly and pleasant and knew me and my husband by name by the second night. The room was nicely decorated and the flat screen TV was nice (about 32 inches). The wifi was complimentary - despite their advertising a fee for it - and worked fairly well. Like another reviewer pointed out, the buffet did not have very many options, they really did only have about three items, just enough to complete a meal. Not a real variety in choices, but what I did have was good :) (but we had to pay extra for my husband to eat as well :( ) The sheets and covers were stained, but I presume clean. The bed, although very large, was rock hard. Despite the hotel's flaws, I would stay here again had it not been for the restroom. The bathroom was nicely decorated with a glass enclosed shower. The shower had two shower heads, one of which was a hose you could detach. But it was very mildewy and my husband and I wore slippers in it the whole time. The toilet seat was not long enough and did not fit properly over the toilet, meaning that nasty bottom part us ladies don't like to sit on was exposed and not fully covered by the toilet seat. All in all, I think there are probably worse hotels you could find in Festac. The fact that the staff was so nice, the rooms were fairly well decorated and the price - makes it a good value.

I lodged in this hotel when i was preparing for my wedding in April 2013. I stayed here with my Fiance for 5 nights. Pros: Beautiful rooms..very neat and well organized rooms. Courteous and helpful staff. Cons: No fire security and alarms Poor choices of foods to eat Small car spaces Gym not functional One the first night on our lodging there was a fire outbreak on one of the floors and there was no alarms to alert people of the situation. It was not a pleasant experience. I hope they have rectified this now. Also when we went to have breakfast they had only about 3 choices of food in their buffet, this was dissappointing and very dismal. The Gym was another story, it was a small room sharing space with a salon and a massage table. The Gym consisted of only 1 threadmilll and 2 stationery cycles and worse still all the machines were broken and did not work. I am planning another trip and i dont think i am considering Carat 24.
