Stopped in for dinner at sunset having been up at Kaisers throne. Traditional family run Greek Taverna, true local cuisine in a really nice setting watching the sun go down from the terrace while we ate. Waiter's recommendations from menu were spot on, delicious and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Pelekas a must visit but Meal in Alexandros should be on...

Lovely food, great place to sit and watch life go by. All the food is good but the Moussaka is really good. Lovely, light and delicious. The guys cannot do enough and the service is absolutely brilliant.

As we were staying in Corfu Townh we took the opportunity to get the bus to Pelakas for a look around the village. We stopped at Alexandros where we were warmly welcomed. We enjoyed delicious meals, Greek salad and Tuna salad with bread. We also had our first try of Red beer from Corfu micro brewery which was a great...

The hotel is charming, very clean and has a traditional rustic feel and is extremely well run. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The hotel enjoys commanding and delightful location on edge of the village only meters from...

The weather was cold and the room freezing and draughty. Big gaps in the doors and windows meant it felt as though we were outside. Beautiful views but an update of the rooms is long overdue, the taverna food was very good but also no heating inside meant that we were freezing whilst we ate. The village is very quiet...

We read about Pelekas in our guide book and decided to visit from Boukari where we were staying for a fortnight. What a beautiful mountain village and the restaurant was the icing on the cake. The tuna salad and Greek salad were massive and delicious. The kids had a homemade pizza which they said was great and the stuffed vine...

We recently returned to Alexandros after almost 40 years. Our memory was of a friendly taverna with good food. Our memory was correct, it was magical. The food is superb and the service excellent. The village of Pelekas is as beautiful as ever. Our room was more than adequate with ensuite, air-conditioning and a balcony view which is magnificent. Thanks...
