excellent location, surrounded by mountains and Beas river flowing beneath. in the night and even in quite times of day, one can hear the whispers of the river.... very soothing. Nice rooms. the hotel compound was itself full of snow during my visit. it is 1.5 kms from main market and I can say it is a walking distance in pleasant weather. me and my husband went walking to the mall road from hotel. one can easily get auto rickshaw from the mall road bus stand for the hotel. Food I wont say was excellent, but was fine, breakfast items specially poori bhaji was excellent.

It is a horrible experience we ever experienced. When we reached there hotel was in dark. No electricity, no generator backups.
One emergency lamp is there but it is not working. No hot water it will get only if you call them two or three times ,in the reception telephone line.
The owner was a good person but hotel facility was very very poor but only food was good.
Pl.don't prefer this hotel if you are going with family

I stayed at this hotel in July 2012 during my honeymoon. We had the special honeymoon suite , facing the river and mountains. Nice wooden room with decent bathroom and bath tub. The staff and hotel owner was excellent. Awesome breakfast served with fresh plums and avacodos plucked from their garden trees. They would serve a huge variety of items for dinner. The hotel arranged for a taxi and the driver was very good. We have already sent a few of our friends to this hotel and they all had a memorable experience. Go ahead.. its highly recommended.

Stayed here for 3 days . we were a family of 4 adults nd 4 kids . Location of the hotal was really good facing the beas and snow capped mountains ..We were given the cottage on the first floor . Its was more like an apartment with all amenities . Living ,dining,2 bed rooms and a kitchen . The interiors were really good .The view from all the rooms were great overlooking the beas and snow capped mountains . The restaurant food was fresh and good ...made to order and served piping hot . Walkable distance from the main market .The staff are friendly . Mr Anup was very helpful in guiding us and providing vital info during our stay .

Overall a fantastic experience and i personally vouch for this accomodation .

This hotel has a great location, situated on vashisht road. The rooms are very neat and clean and the staff is hospitable. Just a five minute walk to the river beas bank where u can click photos. I was there with my wife and 3 year old daughter on 15 th Aug 2014. reached hotel at 12:45 in the night and no probs with the hotel. The boy opened the door although it was very late. The food is also good. They have a restaurant downstairs and they can serve food in the room too. The owner is a cool person. Good place for a family stay. There are great scenic vies from the hotel

This is being last 6 years we visited first time Manali and decided to stay with Hotel Manali Continental and booked honeymoon suit package with great price and excellent service. This was a memorable trip, very recently we booked another package for my brother and gifted him. The couple was very happy about excellent more improved service and with great offer. We recommend few of our friends as well.

Nice Hotel near Manali Bus Stand and local sight seen of manali. One can see River Beas from room and hear the sound the river 24 X 7.
Good service and staff alongwith the owner of the hotel. Food and Tea (everybody is not perfect in making Tea) are enjoyable.
Apple trees are also their and very calm and peaceful place.

Excellent stay. The rooms are awesome and the service is also great...The food is also good.. The view from the hotel is just another feather in the cap and is just beside the Beas river bed. At night you can hear the rumbling sound of the river against the rocks which is a thing which we city dwellers do not get the opportunity to enjoy.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for family trip at Manali.
Only negative point is that the location is a bit far from the Market Place.
