We stayed for a week on the recommendation of a former manager. The staff were friendly and the room was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The hotel is right on the beach and the town itself is not 'touristy'. There is a plethora of good bars and restaurants close by, and the selection of food at breakfast in the hotel...

Hi, we stayed from 3rd to 10th March are are just home. This is a lovely 3* right by the beach. we asked for a deluxe sea view with a balcony. we got a very limited sea view on to the street. however, the staff were very helpful will all our needs and in particular Taissa who was so so...

Just returned from Hotel Medano after a week in February. The 30th anniversary of our first stay with them in 1987. Though the hotel has changed over the years, people used to dress for dinner, it was silver service and there was some musical entertainment, it has retained its charm and ambience. There has been a fair bit of upgrading...

Fantastic sea location with views and access to sea from hotel sunbathing deck ! Good , clean hotel with nice food but not Spanish food . But great breakfasts that can be eaten on the sundeck and unlimited coffee and breakfast items available Evening meals were good for after days out , with hungry teenagers who need filling up !...

This hotel is in the best position within the charming town of El Medano. Right on the beach with the terrace jutting out into the sea.steps from the terrace take you directly into the sea to swim. The room we had was spacious and very clean ( we upgraded to premium room) The biggest let down for this hotel is the...

The hotel itself is built on concrete piles starting at the beach and reaching out into the sea. Some of the rooms don't have a sea view. Knowing that before we arrived, we had contacted the hotel and requested one with sea view. We actually got a room with sea view and balcony to die for, looking out over the...

Wonderful location literally over the sea. Rooms are fair size with good en suite (but why try and include a bath that’s much too small?). Rooms cleaned to a good standard every day. Would suggest that sea view option is taken as those without do not get any sun. Food was OK but not spectacular with buffet style for breakfast...

My goal was to have a time of complete relaxation in the sun and that was achieved. The hotel is clean and the staff are friendly. I loved that it was situated right on the water with ample sundecks to enjoy plus a balcony from my room. Next time I would do breakfast only rather than half board to better...

This is a striking building and the best location in town overlooking the beach. The hotel terrace gives you the impression of being on a cruise with steps down into the sea. Rooms are clean and spacious, however, the canteen style food lets it down. Breakfast is just ok; I normally prefer fruit, croissants and cold meats. However, canned fruit...

Just back from a 4 night Christmas break at this hotel. The location is to die for with stunning coastal views from the bar & restaurant areas. The rooms are spacious & spotlessly clean, as is the whole hotel. Only negative would be there is no heating in the rooms & it got quite cold in an evening whilst we...
