We had a wonderful stay at the lodge after a long day of hiking the Coast to Coast. Our room was clean and comfortable. The food, both dinner and breakfast, were delicious. We really appreciated the drying room for our wet gear and boots.

Stayed at the lodge for a relaxing weekend. The staff where very helpful and friendly. The food was out of this world. To sum the place up it was fantastic we couldn't fault it one bit. The only one thing I would say is if your going anytime during the winter months it pretty fool proof but make sure you...

Keld Lodge is where most walkers stay on the Coast to Coast journey. It was a very welcome sight after walking from Kirkby Stephen. Keld is a delightful small village in the Swaledale Valley and Keld Lodge was a very pleasant place to stop for the night. The room we had was quite big, the only negatives were a not...

We stayed at the Keld Lodge on a C2C walk in July. This was our least favorite lodging on the trip, primarily because our room was unbearably hot. I honestly cannot separate my feelings or impressions of the lodge from the most uncomfortable night of our trip. Keld is beautiful, and it appears that midges agree. We were rightly advised...

We stayed here last May whilst we did the Coast to Coast. What a terrific spot. Seriously relaxing countryside, seriously good service and seriously good value food. The rooms weren't posh but they had everything we needed and there was a very warm drying room which was perfect for us. We had such a good time we are heading back...

Iv stayed at Keld on a few occasions now and can genuinely say I have never had a bad experience whilst doing so. The staff are very welcoming and friendly whilst also remaining very professional; especially the young blonde liverpudlian that I have had the pleasure of meeting, who has always made my stays all the more enjoyable with her...

Standard room. Very comfortable, Ensuite excellent. Meals fabulous and service excellent. Wifi downstairs but not in room. No mobile reception. A great drying room which was great as we were doing the C2C walk and very wet...everything dry by morning. Had a single room, soap but no shampoo/conditioner. Cozy bar area.

Recently dined in the restaurant with friends whilst staying nearby. Lovely meal, very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble .One of our party had suffered an injury during our trip and the owner very kindly ensured we returned to our nearby accommodation safely by driving us himself ! Would definitely return . Many thanks

Warm welcome at the lodge, and excellent large drying room! Food was quite good and service very friendly. Wifi didn't work in the rooms, but was fine in the lounge. Breakfast was a combination of self serve and hot meal. All was good and the service was friendly.

The lounge and dining area were nice as was the food, staff also very friendly and helpful. But the bedroom was awful, dirty and very scruffy. You could barely read at night with the light on, it was so dim. Decoration was old and grim. Bed so uncomfortable, we could feel the springs though the mattress, so didn't get much...
