Stayed here for 10 days in January 2015. I'd eaten at the hotel during a previous visit but not stayed there however based on it's location I decided to book my stay when I came back on my own. I'd contacted the hotel beforehand and requested a room on the first floor just for peace of mind and that's what...

Was planning a two night stay here but the whole place felt soulless. On two separate occasions I sat in the restaurant and beachside and no one came take me order. Few staff passed by buy couldn't take a hint I was after something. Aircon is a must. Rooms are sweltering hot without. Sheets felt dirty and I didn't want...

This is a seaside property. On the side of a beach! Not very friendly reception. Very matter of fact but not really knowledgeable. Rooms are very average to put it mildly. But good thing they face the beach. Many do not have air conditioning. It can get hot, and ceiling fan is of no use inside mosquito net. There was...

0 of steps to the warm ocean. No big waves. You can swim all and always. Cleanliness There are housing, located across the road. In fact, this second line other view and quite steep stairs and uncomfortable . I think it should warn in advance of those who booked the rooms in this building. Mini Bars and air conditioning in...

This resort was by far the worst resort I have ever visited in my life. In a country like Sri Lanka where all other locations you feel like home, this place will be a reference to my worst experience ever. I was treated as if they were paying me for staying there. I had an experience with one of my...

Recently back from a stay at Beruwala where I was able to enjoy the multi dive package at Ypsylon dive school. Staff were really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The school was well organised and I was really well looked after. The dive guides always found the best stops with plenty of fish life. I would really recommend using this school...

Not only is the price right, but so is the proximity to the ocean. Why pay double and more at the nearby larger resorts that are farther from the sea? The employees are helpful and guided tours to area attractions are available.

We travelled all around Sri Lanka and this hotel was by far the best of the lot (at the same cost as all the others). The beach is pristine (unlike many other Sri Lankan beaches)and the rooms modern & clean. My only slight gripe is that there are not quite enough sun loungers to go round and, this hotel having...

A lovely two night stay after a busy time travelling. The beach and views are just gorgeous. Food, rooms and restaurant all of fine standard. For the price its just perfect for a beach stay and especially as Bentota is an expensive more luxurious resort. The Spa massage was nice. Pool slightly dirty but who needs it with that warm...

I recently stayed here to do my Advanced Open Water Course and while the accommodation was quite comfortable (I was up in the apartments above the owner's home, not beachside), the food was very nice and the service was decent, I was a little disappointed with the dive course. I did not really have the choice of the optional dives...
