On first appearances, this place looks great. Great location, great internal finishings, etc. What I did experience though was something that I had not experienced since I was in Kelimutu, in Nusa Tengarra, in Indonesia. That is a place attracts so many tourists in an otherwise non-touristed island, that it gives at least some of the management a feeling of...

Room 102. Ground floor, cliff-top view from your bedside of the wild Atlantic ocean ripping at the rocks on this infernal and mysterious volcanic isle. Open your eyes and imagine you are on any rugged dot of an island with a foothold in some forgotten corner of the known world. This hotel is terrifically good value compared to the Parador...

Overall nice hotel with some challenges + Excellent view to the sea + Building and rooms is in very good shape + Very quiet in the hotel o Guests need a rental car b/c of hotel's location - Employees speak Spanish only - Food (dinner) is "cooked" in microwave ovens

This place was fine as a hotel. I can't speak for the spa as I didn't try to use it. The room was fine and had everything we needed. The building had the air of a slightly down-at-heel place that could be in a film where you discover odd things about the guests. It was very quiet, possibly because there...

The hotel is very well-kept and attractive. We visited twice from neighbouring Sabinosa, once for a drink and the other time for their buffet breakfast. The hotel looks to be good value for money, although the breakfast offering was rather average. Really you need a car if you plan on staying here as it is pretty isolated and availability of...

Great Hotel, rooms lovely, clean and spacious. Sadly, the food was terrible, Sauna and jacuzzi out of action, which considering the hotel was a spa was to say the least disappointing. The staff were so kind, and helpful, I would definitely return, and try the food once more, hoping for improvement.

This place has the potential to be great. Brilliant location on the shore of El Golfo, recently refurbished and it's clean and tidy. So potentially a 5*. Staff professional although not particularly friendly or welcoming - to be honest they just seemed a bit bored and uninterested - maybe because the hotel had few guests. But then you'd think they'd...

Wonderful hotel. Two nights on our walking tour of the island with InnTravel. We had a veranda overlooking the crashing waves of the Atlantic. We hired the sauna/jacuzzi for our exclusive use for an hour and also a massage. Amazing walk around the headland, with crashing waves and dramatic headlands. I know some people have said the food is mediocre,...

The hotel is very nice, although one of biggest in the island it is still small. The building is interresting built from lava stones. There is a big glass topped atrium with tropical trees, bananas,... There is free wifi accesible in the reception area but nowhere else. The rooms are very nice enough equiped for three star hotel, clear. The...

This is a lovely small hotel in a fabulous location. The staff were helpful and many had very good English. The picnic omelette rolls were great. The food in the dining room is very unsophisticated and the room itself rather too brightly lit. The hotel is in quite an isolated area but has a nice outdoor pool and sports area.
