A good budget hotel with nice atmosphere and good friendly staff. I have visited and stayed here for more than 5 times. Food range is not that great but good. The pool is not that great but the rooms are good.

The real highlight of the Royal Lotus was the pool and the wonderful view. The rooms were very basic, nothing special - definitely need an upgrade. Wifi was available, but too slow to really use. Restaurant was quite good, they had a buffet for dinner with good quality local dishes. We stayed as part of an Exodus tour, but I...

We spent one night here as a part of an organised tour. As mentioned in many other reviews the rooms require updating. Lots of wear and tear - furnishings stained, dirty, bed uncomfortable, noisy a/c which also leaked water, lamps not working. They need to invest money in an upgrade for the rooms. The views from our 3rd floor room...

This was absolutely a great hotel. Especially the staff was amazing! We (two young women)were there when it was off season, so the hotel was fairly empty. There are mainly men working there but not once did we feel un safe. This hotel has the most amazing view over the lake. Watching the sunset there is AMAZING. The rooms are...

The hotel is situated in a great location overlooking lake, reception areas and pool were good, restaurant was also very good. However, the room was not very well maintained, stained blinds and lampshades, and the standard of decoration was awful - looked like the monkeys had been employed to do it, The concrete table and shoddy wooden cupboards completed the...

This hotel is in a very pleasant situation overlooking a lake. The foyer has been updated and is very impressive. However the rooms have not yet been done and the bathroom in particular could do with a reno job. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent.

The hotel is out of town overlooking the countryside. The swimming pool has a great view but there were no shaded areas and no umbrellas. The soup at dinner was unappetizing and the food was adequate but not great. The air conditioning in our room worked and was not too noisy. However the mattresses were extremely poor quality – you...

We only had one night at the Royal Lotus on a touring holiday. The reception area is very spacious and looks quite modern as does the dining room. The staff were helpful and the buffets for dinner and breakfast were very good with plenty of choice. However, the rooms were a disappointment - very tired and need money spent on...
