My wife and I stayed here through the two weeks of Chinese New Year to escape the madness and noise in China. It was a great six days after the chaos of Chiang Mai the week before. The hotel is as exactly as shown, the room was very spacious, the grounds wonderful and very well looked after, the pool area...

I had an exceptional stay! The staff were friendly, the grounds are well looked after, the pool area is stunning and you're a few feet away from the sandy white beach. The buffet breakfast was by far the best. The rooms are huge and so are the bathrooms. You are really getting value for money. The only problem is that...

This hotel is in a great location, walking distance to cheap local food like Love Noodle. The beach is a lot of fun for kids with waves. A short walk along the beach gives you access to a bunch of mid price restaurants. The rooms are clean and large but communicating with staff is somewhat difficult for English speakers. This...

The resort looked lovely in the pictures, and that was mirrored in reality. Neat, comfortable and pretty rooms, green and peaceful property, a lovely view of the Lamai beach and all the amenities like spa and good pool. However, the person at the reception was shockingly rude, literally snapping at us at every query we made. We reached 3-4 hours...

This hotel looked lovely in the pictures - and indeed the grounds and hotel exterior were quite pretty, however the interior told a different story. We stayed in the regular villa located some distance from the pool for approx AUD$60 per night. We checked out a night early to move to the Centra Coconut Beach resort on the other side...

The room that I stayed with my friends was huge, with a living room, 2 bathrooms, and a big room. But, the internet it´s not included and you have to buy cards, but the internet signal at the rooms is awfull, barely exists! The service it´s not good at all, they won´t help you with the tours, they just give...

We stopped by here for food and drinks only after a day on lamai beach and we all wished we had stayed here. The whole place was immaculate, beautifully decorated and right on the beach. The cocktails and food were very well priced and the staff very friendly. We will go back to stay one day.

Near the Resort, there are waterfalls, ancient Wats, a butterfly farm and much more. There is no shortage of sights, both historical and natural. On the east coast of the island, Chaweng Beach is where backpackers flock for the full moon parties and frantic nightlife. But Thai Villas Resort is a world apart from that. Indeed, Thai Villas Resort & Spa has drastically altered the island's image. Koh Samui is fast becoming a celebrity locale for those in pursuit of elegant lifestyles. ... more   less
