Unless you are left with no other choice, I would avoid this. The rooms were not clean and the noisy room service staff didn't help. We checked out early and relocated. Unless the quality improves, I won't be back.

Our malda tour ended with dinner at this restaurant. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant. The hotel itself is a famous one probably the most sought after hotel in malda city. Food was pretty decent a little overpriced I felt. But worst thing was the crockeries used to serve food. They served in melamine dishes used in roadside foodstalls which...

I stayed for about 3 nights here. the rooms are terrible. AC's are noisy, the linen is dirty and the reception staff do not belong to the service industry. For the prices it charges the rooms are terribly old and dirty. Half of the time the DTH connection does not work. I think they never change the linen too. Very...

You can go there by toto or rickshaw readily available, Besides the NH32, an accessible location with good food and lodging. The food quality is average though and you should not order biriyani there. Other foods are good especially the chicken items.

Clean hotel with good room service option. Tariff is pocket-friendly; situated right beside the National Highway and barely 5 minutes walking distance to the market place. Quality food is served. However, anyone looking for free wi-fi here would surely be disapointed.

The rooms of the hotel is descent...AC rooms available. If u go in summer prefer to take ac rooms. Food is good but not excellent. Rooms need maintenance and bed sheets need replacement. In all,its value for money.

Maybe it was our own fault. As we are students, we try to keep our costs low, so we searched for a hotel which is cheap but still offers us a little comfort (the little comfort you need as a backpacker) ...So we found the kalinga hotel...and it was even for backpacker, whos expectations are not very high, a disappointment....

I booked this hotel through our travel agent but when I entered the room, starting from bed roll to bathroom every corner was very shabby. The hotel does not worth paying 500 Per night However, the service of the staffs are very cordial and prompt.

The time has change but not this hotel. But still it is better than the other hotels available in Malda proper town. The rooms are small and old pattern, the washrooms are not upto the mark. Cleanliness is not there.

Stayed again and fulfilled again. This hotel has kept its reputation from the previous time we visited it. The service as before is just exceptional. This time though things got a little old. Food very good. We took the same room as before. The reception counter people are very pleasant and well mannered. Guys if stuck or want to break...

“Ask for the wing away from road, that might help a little, but executive suites (the best possible room) may not be available...so there are going to be heavy compromises, the town is not yet ready to receive tourists/business guests”
