The GOOD parts: the hotel is very nice and clean. Staff are very helpfull and friendly. Specially Gilberto from the bar, always cheering the mood and the girls from entertainment that were lovelly with the Kids. Unfortnely because of the pandemic situation the buffet was very caotic, but the food was good. You can rent a car there and the price is good, cheaper than some rentals. The BAD parts: The beach in front of the hotel is the worst. Didnt do onde single day in that beach The day we left was at 6am and the only thing the hotel há to offer for breackfast was a single cheese and ham sandwich. Luckly the reception girl was nice and went to the kitchen to get some croissants.
It’s a nice beach hotel, with a good breakfast. All Covid-19 measures were taking place everything was cleaned and safe, with gel over the common areas. Every morning at breakfast were taken our fever. I was expecting a better beach near the hotel, but if you walk for 10min away you can reach a better and peaceful beach.
We visited the hotel last week as a family of three with a two years old. The hotel is very nice, big and certainly has all the facilities you could desire and more. The staff is very attentive and professional. They always go a step further to help you meeting your needs, in particular waiter Jovanna (I think it spells like this) was such a kind, professional and helpful staff. Her manners are outstanding and a very good asset for the hotel.
First time at this hotel having stayed on Formentera for several years with Tui. The reception is huge and so welcoming, all the staff we dealt with on Reception were so friendly and helpful and spoke English. Our room was really good, definately large enough and a wonderful view of the ocean from our balcony. Cleaned throughly every day and clean sheets every other day, you can't ask for more than that. Next time (and there will be a next time) I shall ask if the mini fridge can be empty so we can put our own water etc in it. The dining room, although very big was never crowded, we could sit where we wanted and the service was excellent especially from the two young ladies who were always so pleased to see us, even though it was the end of the season for them. Such a wonderful array of foods to choose from, always something to suit us (especially me as I have coealic disease) On that point the girls delivered Gluten Free rolls to me every morning for my breakfast, much appreciated thank you. On top of that there was free wine and water every evening, never had that before on a half board basis. Also we took advantage of the free cycles a lot during our two week stay, really good bikes and well maintained, which meant that we could travel freely all over the magnificent island. There was an excellent bus service from right outside the hotel which went all over the island. We had a fabulous holiday, thanks to Formentera Playa and their wonderfiul staff, see you next year!…
Enjoyed our stay but, we were exhausted by the time we arrived what with flight, coach, ferry, and another coach. Right on the beach , very nice location. Good room but lack of storage for those staying longer than a few days !!. Staff very helpful and friendly. No TUI rep for Brits , No welcome meeting !! No TUI contact whatsoever. Food pretty good but not 4 star. Restaurant staff excellent. Very few Brits at this hotel mostly Germans, Spanish, Italians. Beach not as good as we had hoped, lots of seaweed and rocks , entry to the sea varied. Long walks possible on decked walkways or beach side paths. Weather very hot for two whole weeks. Would we come back ? probably not, may look at other Formentera locations.
