Genuine warmth, amazing food! This review should have been written months ago. I stayed at the family's Villa for five days. I used it as a base of operations as I explored the surrounding Tuscan area. The family could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Eliza and staff prepare wonderful food using local ingredients- many from the property. If...

We had an amazing time at il Pianaccio. The rooms are clean, the view is lovely, the service is fantastic. The pool is also very nice, surrounded by olive trees. Make sure you come with an appetite - the 5-course dinner is fantastic! We loved having our breakfasts on the patio. The Family is very friendly. You should not leave...

Stayed here twice. The Family and Netenza & Christo are so friendly and your appartment will be cleaned for you every day! Best Tuscan cuisine, we love the food from Elisa, so do the Italians. Be prepared you will get at least a 5-course dinner. The wine and olive oil are made by themselves.

It's an absolutely great agriturismo. Clean and modern rooms at a fair price in a restored old farmhouse. A wonderful view into the valley. A quite big (you really can swim not only refresh in it) and clean pool in the middle of Olive grooves. Very friendly and hospitable owners. But the best of all are the great cooking skills...

it would be here. the chef, Elisa Gianuzzi offers cooking lessons. I scheduled lessons, and made a dinner reservation for us, American and Italian cousins. We -- me, my mother, and my new college grad son -- cooked from 11 to 5 with a lunch break enjoyed with the entire Gianuzzi family. Their english was better than our italian and...

From this hilltop paradise On a Clear day, you can REALLY see forever from Firenze to Pistoia ... -AMAZING. The Food is the best but the hosts are even better. Traveling through Italy this July, my mother and I stayed at Il Pianaccio and experienced our first taste of real Italian living upon arriving after a busy day of shopping in Florence. Il Pianaccio is a 13th century old farmhouse that has been restored and is run by the Giannuzzi family. The rooms are large, air conditioned and simple. Perfectly...

Want to be on cloud nine, my family was! Nestled among almost 35 acres of centuries old olive trees in a completely renovated 100 year old farm house on a beautiful hilside way above the above the hustle of the Florentine Valley. The show stopper was the Italian dinners served outside on the patio overlooking the valley way below. After...

We stay for 4 days on a leisure trip. The road to get there is narrow, but when you are at the agriturismo the view is spectacular. You can see 360* from Florence to Pistoia. We did some day trip to Chianti, Florence, Lucca and Lerici. It's so convenient because the Agriturismo is centrally located ( it took us only...

For those who've read "Under the Tuscan Sun" and dreamed of trying to duplicate the experience of that area and people (without constructing a "casa") a rare opportunity is now available. High in the hills above Montale, Italy, off the A-11 which traverses Tuscany from Florence to Pisa, with vista views stretching from Florence to Pistoia, is Agriturisimo Il Pianaccio....
