This was my third trip to Petrolo - the place is absolutely magical. Incredible setting, very charming villas / farm cottages and fantastic staff. I plan to come back many times over the years ahead. It is really well-located in Tuscany - halfway between Sienna and Arezzo so a fantastic base for day trips.

We booked a villa on the Petrolo estate for a three generation family holiday. The villa and pool were perfect (as was the weather) and we had excellent service from Francesco, Laura and the team. We were pleasantly surprised by the local village, Mercatale Valdarno, with two bars, a weekend restaurant and a weekly village dance and also the nearby...

I selected Petrolo because a friend had previously stayed there. It was the absolute perfect location for a week long stay with my husband, brother, and three of my first cousins and their spouses. The people were helpful and friendly, the accomodations outstanding and the environment everything we dreamed it would be.

For our first overseas trip with our two toddlers, this place was a superb alternative to the usual beach holiday. We had the whole estate to ourselves as we visited in late April/early May and rented Feriale II, the smallest accommodation. However, it was the perfect size. The rustic feel ensured we weren't scared that the kids would trash the...

We rented the villa and nearby farmhouses for a company team building event and would highly recommend it. The surroundings are beautiful and the houses have a great local charm. The house manager and kitchen staff are very attentive. The food was not only delicious, but prepared carefully and served beautifully. We felt at home and thanks to the Petrolo...

A truly beautiful place, I can't recommend it highly enough. I stayed a week for a friends wedding. The villa is beautiful & the staff charming. The rooms and bathrooms are well appointed and the scenery is amazing. The pool & gardens are lovely too.

Petrolo is truly a magical and unique place. We held our wedding here and we couldn't have been happier with the choice. Not only is it in one of the most beautiful and secluded locations in Tuscany, but the house and gardens are tastefully done up. Moreover, Marco and his team are simply superb and look after their guests wonderfully,...

Our family of 23 spent a week in Villa Petrolo and we were all extremely satisfied. The house was very well kept and there was more than enough rooms and beds for everyone. Some rooms were bigger than others but each had its own charm. The center of all activity was the dining room. The villa cook, Graziella, cooked up...

Dear Migi, Hope all is well in Manila! Your family was lovely and I'm glad they all spent a good time toghether. I know it can be quite a surprise to discover the only noises at night are crickets and frogs (and occasional bell of dears!) Looking forward to meet you again! Marco

10 of us stayed very comfortably in one of Petrolo's villas. The house is well equipped with everything you need to self cater for a week. We embraced the Tuscan lifestyle and enjoyed family meals around the table in the heart of the house. We were also able to enjoy a BBQ outside on a balmy July evening. The villa...
