Sunset Waya was just a nightmare for us. We went there because we had the Bula Pass and that was the only accommodation, which was included in the pass. As we arrived there everything looked really amazing, but after we saw our cottage, we already thought it might be maybe not that nice. So we went for dinner and as...

I actually got caught in the horrible storms in early Jan '09, so my experience was probably more 'rustic' than most. I'll be blunt -- Sunset is not for honeymooning couples, old people, 'food tourists', etc. The lodgings are basic -- cold stream-water hose for a shower, a couple hours of electricity a day (so the locals can listen to...

This was the worst of our 4 accomodations on the Yasawas. The bungalow was very basic with a lot of visitors (cockroaches, spiders, ants, etc...), the food was o.k. but the staff was really crayz. The boys there had too much testosterone and did fireshows that were dangerous and our boat ride for feeding the sharks was also a really...

We booked for 5 days at Sunset Waya and stayed 10 day!. My children (age 8 and 10) adored it as did I. One of my boys got poorly and the chief's nephew cured him with a traditional bark remedy! The staff are a lot of fun and have a social scene in their own right which you can join...

It´s just been an awesome time. Sammy and everyone has been really nice. I felt like a part of the fijian family. I stayed there for almost 2 weeks, wich made me feel most welcome and comfortable. Greetings from Ben (Germany)

We stopped at Sunset Waya and it is definately a true Fijian experience! We were the only guests on the island and the staff treated us like royalty. The accomodation is very basic. No pool, no bar, no electricity, only lamps & Definately bring your own towles, some snacks and your own pop and alcohol because they dont have these...
