Our recent stay at blue lagoon beach resort turned out to be a major disappointment. This place does not warrant the so called "3 coconut" rating given by awesome adventures Fiji. This is based upon the following that we experienced.
Starting with our accommodation, villa...More

Bula Karina T, we agree the beach and reef are amazing and we are truly blessed to have it on our door step and readily available to our guests traveling from all over the world to visit. It truly is a highlight as you have...More
This is now our favourite island destination, the beach is stunning and you can swim at all tides, snorkelling is ok and was enjoyed by the children and adults. It would be good to see a few more sun umbrellas and loungers down the dive...More
We debated for a long time which island and resort to go to on our trip to Fiji and ended up picking the Blue Lagoon as our first stop. Best choice ever. This resort is incredible and well worth the 5h ride on the Yasawa...More
We have travelled fairly widely in Fiji over the last 17 years on snorkeling trips and Blue Lagoon Resort remains one of our favorite places. The numerous reviews for this resort, with 80% as excellent and 15% as very good, tells it all with an...More

We went there as a family of 4 (in 2016) and were considering taking the Turtle Airways, as it would be most convenient, but it would have been about $350 per person. So we looked up the Yasawa Flyer and it was much cheaper. It was about $500 for the whole family. It took about 5 hours, because of the stops at other resorts. We enjoyed those, as we got ideas to what other resorts/islands we'd like to stay at in the future. ...plus kids really enjoyed the ride and we saw flying fish swimming along side the boat. The catamaran was ok. Nothing fancy ( bathrooms were dirty ) but sure is fast.
Enjoy your vacation. Take the hike with Vatili. Amazing views of the island. :-)

Hi - yes - you definately want to try to get to the islands for the more clear waters and soft sands. You would need to book now for the xmas period as maybe only a room or two left. You just board the boat at 8.30 am for the scenic cruise to the resort - arrive 12.45 in time for lunch! nice and easy . email the team from the website - they have the best last minute updates for blue lagoon.
