The Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Resort & Casino garners mixed reviews, with its prime beachfront location often lauded by guests as the highlight. While some guests praise the friendly service and array of amenities, including beach access and dining options, others find the rooms in need of an update and cleanliness inconsistent.
The tranquil atmosphere enchants many, even as some guests note a lack of entertainment. Despite the occasional critique on value, many find the resort to be reasonably priced.

The staff is swamped with kindness. Overall a friendly atmosphere . The effort for the guests is obvious – precisely because of some technical problems in the house. There is sufficient staff, as there are no elevators, the staff helps carry the luggage. The hotel is not up to date. Some things like air conditioning need to be repaired. Especially pleasant is the location directly on the beach, which is very suitable for swimming. The green areas are exceptionally well maintained. there are several restaurants and bars on the premises. Breakfast is very rich and varied. The hotel has many rooms on two floors. Accordingly, the walk from some rooms is very long to the reception. The Wi-Fi must be restarted every time you use it. Very convenient is the bath towel service on the beach. The beds are very comfortable. Rooms have refrigerators and air conditioning and a technically well-functioning bathroom. Many stalls in the area provide activities.

A three star hotel, well located on Beau Ballon beach. Spacious complex, very clean. The rooms vary in size and location, after protesting we were given a deluxe room, which is what we had booked. Mr. Bilal is the soul of the hotel, he gives tips and is always on hand to help and advise. Excellent service!!! Thank you for that. The breakfast is quite simple, eggs, toast, some fruit, jam, honey, beans. Tea, coffee, juice. You get full. The diving center in front of the hotel is recommended, I made 2 nice and safe dives.

This has been a real mixed bag and I hope that this review helps people.
Point number one: full board excludes alcohol of any kind except for ridiculously priced options. On the room service menu the JP Chenet rosé was available for the equivalent of about 40 Swiss Francs, which is six times over of what it goes for in Switzerland. Equally, I observed several newcomers getting upset having ordered a beer and then floored by the astronomical price tag.
Point number two: water in a restaurant is only free when served in a glass but some staff eagerly fetch you water in plastic bottles and you wish this was JP Chenet because a litre bottle sets you back about 7 francs. First day we spent 40 francs on water, an expensive lesson.
Point number three: service can be quite horrible. Beware the Italian restaurant, some ladies there move with the speed of the giant turtles the Seychelles are famous for and do not care. One afternoon it took us 40 minutes to get a salad and the other ordered dish did not happen until we got up to leave. The waiter just turned and carried the plate back for another customer. No apology, no emotion.
Now, the service can be amazing too. Indian restaurant - get your lunch there! Anil Pradeep and Nawaj are the best. Food is great, service is great, just the best.
We also had great service from Tharindu from housekeeping. Absolute top!
Finally, I would like to thank the wonderful lady Nexie and I hope I spell it right. She is the marketing and communication manager who went above and beyond when we had a spot of trouble. Kind, caring and professional and I hope she gets a raise because whatever she is paid, this isn’t enough.

I stayed in one of the chalets for 5 nights with my girlfriend. The room was always spotless and kept at a cool temperature, which was not easy considering the 30 degree heat and all the sand we'd accidentally bring in.
The hotel is right on the beach, with easy access to sun lounges, paddle boards, etc. It has 5 restaurants to choose from, and a cocktail bar by the pool and beach. Breakfast was always well-stocked, with plenty of fresh fruit and omelettes made on the spot.
The biggest positive of the hotel was the service. - Nexi was extremely friendly and helped us organise any activities we might want to do during the day, as well as a romantic dinner by the beach. - Madalitso went above and beyond for us every day for breakfast and dinner - he was super attentive and made our lives so much easier. He also took some great photos of us. We've kept his number and hope to meet him again soon! - The lady who cleaned our rooms always had a pleasant smile for us in the morning. - The Nepalese head of security was always a friendly, reassuring presence (I've forgotten his name unfortunately)
I can have no complaints - a nice, relaxing stay all around. I'll stay here again when I come back to the Seychelles.

The second time we stay in this hotel, because everything here suits us: friendly staff, wonderful rooms, delicious food, well-kept area, sea nearby, good beach. Special thanks to receptionist Gihan, who handled our check-in quickly and professionally; Security Prem Singh - he's always ready and happy to help with any request; Raju, who gives out towels by the pool, he used to put the sunbeds where we wanted to sit to make us comfortable. Cleaning rooms every day, bed linen is snow white, constantly replenishing water, tea, coffee, sugar.

I went with my 2 friends. Lisette has been helpful from start to finish and made our stay perfect! The bedroom was clean and tidy, fresh towels and a bottle of water each in the fridge every day, ready to hydrate for the day☀️ Breakfast has something for everyone. The staff in all the restaurants are attentive and want you to have the best experience, they are happy in their work, which also says a lot! Mada is the perfect waiter, he appeared in every restaurant we were in, he does not stop, there was nothing that was a bother to him, the staff explain if there anything on the menu you are unsure of. The location is a dream, walk from the hotel straight onto the beach, which is absolutely stunning, the sea is like a warm bath and crystal clear. All in all the most wonderful experience.! We went a trip to Moyenne island, well worth it, my highlight was the waterfall on Mahé where we swam in the pool it created, JUST WONDERFUL!! we miss Lisette already😍

Hotel top 2.5 *. Good location next to a wonderful, sandy beach - but for the first time I encountered the fact that hotel guests (including elderly people) had to take the deckchairs and mattresses to the beach themselves - I once asked for the deckchairs to be taken out - pool service /beach girl threw them on the beach and he looked like he wanted to beat me - I took the mattresses out myself. I understand that taking care of 20 sun loungers by the pool and sitting in a towel booth is a very hard job, so I didn't bother the men in yellow T-shirts anymore. They would be fired immediately for such an attitude towards hotel guests everywhere. Meals HB+ option: breakfasts: fatty minced meat, fatty cheese, fatty bacon, fried eggs, omelettes and pancakes fried on one plate, vegetables: only cucumbers and chopped cabbage every day, one type of yogurt, some oatmeal, fruit: watermelon, melon, papaya sometimes passion fruit. 2 kinds of juices and some kind of cookies. Dinner: themed buffets - basically the same thing every day: chicken, some meat and sometimes seafood, average quality salads - in the HB+ option, drinks, including alcoholic ones, are free with dinner. There's nothing crazy, but you won't die of hunger, The service is slow, they try, but it doesn't always work: you order 3 drinks - they bring two, you order a large wine, I bring a small one, etc. Rooms: we had a deluxe room with a balcony - renovated but with many imperfections - tops 3*. I can't imagine how you can rent a room without a balcony, and most of them have one - especially with frequent rains. Neglected garden - especially in the "Chalet" zone Prices in the hotel for drinks and meals are very high - which is surprising because in a much better place called "Gecos" next to the Savoy Hotel, prices are more affordable and drinks, drinks and meals are much better. The hotel is close to several supermarkets where you can buy drinks and if you're tired of hotel meals - French cheese, Czech and Italian meats, vegetables - tomatoes - prices are within reason. Hotel as a base for trips - approx. Reception service and cleaning service - 5* I cannot understand the opinion about the great hotel, great meals - everything was of average quality - maybe these were the first trips of these tourists. The Seychelles are wonderful and worth visiting.

I don't know where to start. First of all, I find it really puking how the scabbard toads (the Seychelles landmark) are kept. Something urgently needs to be done here, which is below the belt. The next thing is the lady who, when you get to breakfast, will clean her ears. Breakfast isn't exactly good either. Fruit always just melon and oranges, although everything grows on the island. The staff in the breakfast room are totally overwhelmed, as dirty tables are sometimes cleaned only after 15 minutes, although there are enough staff. We arrived at the hotel early at 8am and the only thing we were offered in breakfast was soluble coffee and dried croissant. Which I think is a cheek. Then we wanted to change the room on Monday 8 pm, which we were also promised, but unfortunately this supposedly could not be cleaned as it rained at 5 pm. Then we were able to move into the new room on Tuesday 8am and the crowning glory was that it was still not cleaned. Some of the reception staff seemed a bit annoyed. On the whole, I am very disappointed with this hotel. I had relied on the reviews and was disappointed. The fight for loungers starts at 7am and sooner! Reservations should be prohibited. There is also something positive, the beach, and the nice bartender at the pool bar, which is the only thing though.

The complex was very beautiful, filled with a variety of plants and beautiful animals. The loungers were never damaged and the pool was always clean. The gym had all the equipment I wanted to use and all the rooms, streets and attractions were clean. The dinner was very good, as there was a different theme buffet every day of the week but the basmati rice and bread were always the same. So there was always a good dinner, even if none of the theme buffet tasted good. Breakfast is always the same, and I would like to mention that the chef who makes the omelettes in the morning greets you very friendly and makes very good omelettes very quickly. I had two eggs every morning and never had to wait more than a minute. The same chef also cooks the Tapaniaki dinner, a special offer where Japanese food is prepared in front of you. This was excellent and the best I have ever eaten. The water with the meal unfortunately cost €7 for a liter, which I find a bit too expensive. This is not too bad, however, as room service delivered a liter to your room every day.
There were three of us in a double room, so we always had enough water.
The air conditioning in one of our rooms broke down, so we were given another double room and moved without any problems. The management was very quick and friendly.
One of the hotel's strengths was the bus that goes to Victoria, the capital, every morning. From there you can reach the entire island via the bus station.
All in all, the hotel was a fantastic experience and a very nice hotel to relax in when you're not out and about.

It's great. Many thanks to the team at Berjaya Beau Vallon Resort: Josette,Aditya, Kapita, Eva. On the return transfer evening we got a shower room to freshen up and towels, still warm, fresh from the dryer. A very good service.

There is an area where they provide spa treatments - but not an actual spa with Jacuzzi etc.
Wednesdays and Saturdays there is a food market down the beach (turn right) which offers good value tasty food. A few of the traders are there every day.
From memory half board is done via voucher for the buffet restaurant and you get 1 or 2 speciality restaurant visits per week.
There are more places to choose from in the Beau Vallon area.
