When we arrived (late in the afternoon), the front door was closed which scared us a little bit. Eventually (thanks to our taxi driver!) we got into contact with the staff and could enter our room. We were the only guests at that moment (the beginning of July is a very quiet period for tourists in Cape Vert) and we... More

We spent our first few nights in Cape Verde at this renovated colonial home in a quiet section of Sao Filipe. The large top floor apartment gets plenty of sea breezes and enjoys almost panoramic ocean views. It is a very short walk up to the "center" of this small town. Mike and Monika are great hosts. We enlisted Mike... More

We stayed there in January 2014 for 3 nights. The owners, a german couple, are very friendly and helpful organizing daytrips and other stuff you need. The driver they organized, Paulino was reliably. A day trip is 6000 CVE. The rooms are clean and the interior is minimalstic. The matress on the bed is good. From our room (upper floor)... More

We spent six days in Casa Beiramar. We had one of the 1st floor level rooms (1 dbl bed) with sea view balcony. Clean, spacious, own bathroom, perfect. Mike sees to it that all installations are well-maintained. No aircon or fan, but if you leave the windowshades open there's always a nice breeze. You will hear dogs and roosters regardless... More

I spent two nights in Casa Beiramar with my girlfriend in September. Mike and Monika are the perfect hosts, very nice and helpful, answering all questions we had about the island and other organisational matters. Breakfast is good quantity and quality, and it's great to have it in the rear patio in the morning. The room downstairs was a bit... More

Not only in comparison with other accommodations in Cape Verde (including one of the 4* hotels in Praia) Casa Beiramar is to be rated top. Also valued by itself: it is a top place to stay. But after having seen other accommodations, we can see how much effort it takes to have it that clean, nice and all without those... More

Mike is extremely helpful in giving information and recommending drivers - we really appreciated this. The breakfast was very good, with fresh rolls. The shower was excellent. The location of the house is good, a few minutes walk downhill from the town centre. However, we found our downstairs rooms too hot to be comfortable. There is no fan and the breeze... More

I stayed in Casa Beiramar for three nights. As this is privately owned house one would expect it’s not easy to find the owners when you want. However, Monika and Mike have been on my disposal whenever I needed them. The room I stayed was very nice - three window-doors to all directions make the room more spacious. Wooden furniture... It is a house owe by the German lady who has rooms with Balcony. The one we have was extremely small, you cannot even push two beds together to make it a double bed. Service is friendly.
