Just checked in and the receptionist was very nice. English is okay but good enough. Nice people and helped with luggage. The rooms are nice and clean. Better than what I expected hearing horror stories about other places in the area. Took pictures to show.

When you travel more often, staying overnight in a smaller family hotel has its own flair. The rooms are spacious and clean. WiFi is complementary. The owner and his wife are friendly and supportive. There is on of the best Brazilian rodizios in Germany in walking distance. That might be reason enough to stay there. Anyway, it was a perfect...

A quaint small hotel in the charming village of Wienhausen. Helpful and friendly welcome. No evening meal is served but a Brazilian steakhouse was suggested situated almost diagonally across the road that provided a delicious meal. Breakfast was more than adequate and all in all a pleasant one night stay.

Landhotel Klosterhof is relatively newly built but in a very traditional (& I suspect expensive) style. It is well situated in a quiet village and would be a very suitable base for a walking or cycling holiday. Our room overlooked fields at the back of the hotel and both the room and it's ensuite were spacious, comfortable and well appointed....

We stayed here for one night when driving back from Berlin to Amsterdam. The rooms are very well appointed and comfortable, and the proprietor welcoming and helpful. There's no restaurant on site and guests are normally advised to eat at a hotel down the road. We didn't do this since the day was public holiday and it was crowded and...
