We did a two week tour of Germany, this was a last minute booking and a great choice. Our room was huge with a great view of the garden and country side. The property is well restored and we highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel about an hour from the motorway. Set on top of a hill with fantastic views. Friendly and helpful staff. The castle theme is both inside and out, large gorgeous bedroom with terrace and modern bathroom. Fantastic food. The only drawback is that we could only stay for 1 night, as it was close to pretty little towns and...

The hotel is a 30 minute drive off the German autobahn. It features modernized elegant rooms in a wonderfully rich background of a rich German castle. But it is more of a palace than a castle and it was built little over 100 years ago by a rich tycoon as a wedding gift to his daughter. It is near the...

Felt like a princess in a fairy tale! Enchanted place surrounded by beautiful nature and a cute little town named Eschwege. Wonderful for a short getaway to unwind and relax. The restaurant with its friendly wait staff provides an excellent culinary experience. Every meal is lovely decorated with eatable flowers.

This castle has been beautifully restored and is very much more special than a purpose built hotel. The room was excellent, and the breakfast buffet is really good and well priced (unlike so many these days). We ate both nights in the restaurant with great food and a lovely view out over the valley. The service was excellent and it...

A friend and I stayed in this castle for two nights. When we checked in the woman at the desk apologized for not speaking English well. (I apologized for my abysmal to non-existent German). But somehow we managed to not only get two lovely rooms on the second floor, but also to reserve a massage (and to get through it...

This converted and newly remodeled residence is the perfect out-of the way architectural wonder (and I ordered the venison the first evening and it was the best tasting meal I ever enjoyed away from home). Hotel is complete with a wonderful modern spa on the lower level. Breakfast buffet is as good as it gets. The nearby town of Eschwege...

The castle is not far from the city of Kassel and located in the Werra river valley. Built in 1904, the castle was owned by the industrialist Henschel for a number of years. It has a peaceful and beautiful setting. From the terrace one can see Werra lake and Meissner mountain in the distance. The food was excellently prepared, beautifully...

Beautiful location in a very nice area, nice rooms (but not all of them with lift), the palace is completely renovated with very good taste. Restaurant well attended and good food. All in all very recommendable.

Got here late at night and the castle was beautifully lit! The inside is very spacious and well decorated to give you more of that castle feel. The rooms are less spacious but very cute, clean and the beds are very large. There are beautiful lighting ornaments in the room and a very well positioned tv for watching in bed....
