My daughter and I ate here last Thursday evening. The evening menu is varied and reasonably priced. I had the 5oz steak which was very tender and cooked perfectly. The mustard seed sauce I chose was mild and I enjoyed it. My daughter had the battered cod. This was a large portion, again well cooked and accompanied by chips, mushy...

Lovely homely hotel. Staff are lovely and friendly, and we want to say a special thanks to a girl named patricia who looked after my niece and her husband and kids in a most excellent way and was great with the kids on the morning before they left. She could not do enough for us all and the kids loved...

We bought tickets for a Robbie Burns night for the 28th. January. I was not expecting much but wanted to hear the Scottish pipe band which was attending. What a surprise.! A twenty strong pipe band straight from Inverness created the authentic atmosphere. But the biggest surprise was the extraordinary superb meal that was served. For what we paid we should...

We stopped here late in December to break the long drive from Limerick to Donegal. We were not overly impressed with the layout and atmosphere, but we were hungry and decided to go for a main course only. We both had their Roast Beef and it was really excellent. Service was OK - friendly enough, but it was obvious the...

Visited this pub/restaurant again recently and this time found it to have a good range of food choices on menu. There appeared to be an improvement in business here from our previous visit. The food prices seem to be noticeably more expensive although the food is well presented and portions are OK. The place itself needs an urgent touch-up and...

I was travelling on the Sligo - Knock road enroute to Galway and needed a bite so I asked in a shop and they said try the Yeats.. so I did ! It was a good sign as the place was busy at lunch time ! It's an old fashioned small hotel with bar lounge and dining / small functions...

Have stopped here on a number of occasions on route from Donegal to Limerick on business. However, one particular Saturday evening was very disappointing. Restaurant was quite busy. Waited so long for our order to be taken we were ready to leave when a young lady with fair hair in a ponytail attended to our table and more or less...
